    Sales Operations Manager, SSA

    Role Summary

    • The Sales Operations Manager, SSA is a regional position providing centralized leadership and support for the coordination, harmonization, and support of Sales Force processes, methods, tools, best practices and key performance indicators for their respective Region.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Provide analysis and reporting for Region Management
    • Day to day interaction with and support of the Global and PL Sales Operations colleagues
    • Coordinates the monthly pipeline review process and preparation of the Region Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR)
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly commercial performance reporting
    • Support the implementation and planning of various projects in the Alstom Grid Management Cycle
    • Implement & Coordinate relevant Sales Management Processes & Tools for the Region
    • Perform CRM Champion activities for the Region including CRM user management, user training and coaching, 1st level user support for Region CRM users and change management
    • Other tasks as directed by Management

    Major Responsibilities

    • CRM Champion Promoting adoption & evolution, front line User Support, Training, and Administration
    • Support Monthly Pipeline Reviews and Op Rhythm
    • Ensure Monthly reporting to Sales Force management and Leadership on Order Intake performance analysis via Monthly Pipeline Reviews
    • Contribute towards Leadership Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews
    • Analyze & verify the consistency of the Order Intake 3-Month Forecast
    • Identify main underperformance PLs/Countries and recommended correctives actions where applicable
    • Ensure the implementation of ad-hoc sales performance analyses for Sales Force Management
    • Monitor data accuracy and quality in SPEAK, provide suggestions to SPEAK Champions community for improvement
    • Organize and coordinate the Objectives Setup exercise (TYP, FCST1, etc.)
    • Analyze Region performance through Salesforce Non-Financial KPIs
    • Support the design, development, implementation and coordination key sales management processes & tools for the sales force (Sales Efficiency Models, Key Account Plans, Segment Reviews, Sales Performance KPIs, CRM Data Quality Templates, etc.)
    • Provide consistent metrics to understand and improve business performance and productivity (sales efficiency and effectiveness)
    • Comply with Quality Procedures, work instructions and Processes
    • Report or resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Engineering or Business .
    • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Sales Operations.
    • Strong analytic & communication skills & Organizational Skills
    • 5-8 years of professional experience in sales activity
    • Mid-level Finance and Accounting
    • Previous Sales Experience within Industry (or similar industry)
    • Grid Sales Methodology
    • Excellent computer literacy - Excel, PowerPoint
    • CRM
    • Understanding / ability to work in a large & complex matrix organization
    • Multicultural and International experience and skills (mandatory for MECA, WEA, EAP, CER)
    • Good understanding of Order Intake Booking, Market knowledge within the power industry
    • Fluent in English - French language would be an advantage
    • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
    • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria

    Role Summary

    • O&M Plant Manager is responsible for the overall management required to operate and maintain the plant to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.
    • Plant Manager will have key accountability with regards to customer relations and O&M P&L management while providing overall leadership to the site O&M team for safe. reliable and efficient plant operation and maintenance.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain positive customer intensity, relationship and communication and act as the principle Point of Contact with the Customer for all discussions relating to the O&M Agreement.
    • Hire, supervise, evaluate, develop and lead a skilled and effective O&M Team.
    • Provide overall management required to operate and maintain all site equipment and systems.
    • Manage relationships with the Customer and other organizations involved with the site with regards to plant operations and maintenance.
    • Develop and implement maintenance strategy based on a Reliability Based Maintenance program consistent with achieving maximum plant efficiency to meet customer requirements in the most safe, reliable, economical and environmentally safe manner.
    • Ensure implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) at the Facility.
    • Establish Inventory Management for critical spare parts utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and ensure to maintain optimum stock of spares and consumables.
    • Manage Routine, Planned and Unplanned Maintenance as per requirements of the O&M Agreement with Customer.
    • Ensure compliance with requirements for environmental, health and safety requirements in plant operation and maintenance activities.
    • Drive implementation of Log-Out/Tag Out (LOTO) System in accordance with the Contractor’s policies and procedures with the assistance of the Customer, as applicable.
    • Oversee development and implementation of operation and maintenance procedures for major systems using Facility designer's operation manuals/procedures and equipment Vendors' instructions utilizing the Customer’s Work Force.
    • Recommend Facility modifications and upgrades to the Customer to enhance plant reliability and performance.
    • Co-ordinate with GE O&M Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, GE Engineering and other O&M support team for the resolution of complex issues relevant to maintenance.
    • Drive optimization of plant operation and maintenance strategies with the aim of achieving lower cost operation and/or increased efficiency and output.
    • Ensure the performance and recording of periodic operational checks and tests of the plant equipment in accordance with Customer’s requirements, equipment manufacturers’ recommendations, applicable laws and Contractor’s recommendations.
    • Ensure preparation and submission of plant operation and maintenance activities reports as per requirements of the contract.
    • Drives set-up of the Facility Maintenance shop, Tool Room and laboratories.
    • Ensure timely completion of plant root cause analysis for the technical events.
    • Drive the training and qualification of operations and maintenance team as per guidelines of the contract.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the business leadership.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls from an accredited College or University.
    • Major experience of combined cycle power plant O&M experience and very strong experience in management position.
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.

    • Strong project management, problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Strong business and financial skills.
    • P&L management experience with regards to long term services contracts.
    • Prior experience with GE O&M in same capacity is preferred.
    • Knowledge of GE products, services, and processes (GE employees only).

    • Prior customer interface experience with capability to build effective customer relationship.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency with computer tools.
    • Ability and willingness to travel as required by the nature of the job.
