    Tender Officer

    The Position

    • The Tender Officer (TO) is a position that supports the external sales team, the business development function as well as the commercial administration staff within the company.
    • The Tender Officer (TO) has a daily responsibility to provide proposals and quotations across multiple disciplines and industries and to support the sales and operations team to manage and coordinate the technical and commercial bid packages.
    • The Tender Officer (TO), apart from close liaison with internal technical, sales and business development staff, will be expected to provide input into the company’s client relationship management systems, as well as other internal systems.
    • The Tender Officer (TO) will be responsible to provide technical inputs into the proposals given to clients.
    • He/she will be responsible for ensuring that the proposals leave the site (either to the external client or the sales team) consistently of high quality and in line with company procedures.

    High level scope of activities: What is the role?

    • Preparing and writing technical and commercial proposals in response to tenders and enquiries from customers and ensuring they are managed and delivered on time. This requires liaising with both the sales and technical teams to bring together the relevant information.
    • Perform a detailed review of enquiry documents to enable full understanding of requirements
    • Ensure all requirements are identified for inclusion or qualification,
    • Co-ordination of internal and external support to provide input into the proposals e.g. HSEQ, Financial, Technical, Operations and Suppliers
    • Respond to sales enquiries taking every opportunity to develop relationships with existing and new clients
    • This role will ensure that proposals fit with NMT commercial policies
    • This role will quite often be the first technical contact that the client has spoken to within the company, and the role is important in displaying a professional and competent image to the client.
    • Develop and maintain contact with clients, representatives and suppliers. Where required, meet with clients for bid meetings or presentations
    • Keep sales procedures and internal bidding tools up to date
    • Undertake various sales/marketing initiatives as directed by the management
    • This role is expected to develop the client handling processes within the local site
    • Extra tasks as per Line Manager request in case of company need

    Requirements

    • At least, a Second-class Bachelor's degree in Business, engineering or any related disciplines
    • Good understanding of Tender/Project Management process
    • Experience in production support, scheduling, engineering or projects
    • 3-4 years of relevant working experience in Tender/project Management
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both written and spoken English
    • PC skills including spreadsheet, presentations word processing, relational database, project/planning management scheduling software or similar mainframe experience.

    Maintenance Manager

    Duties and Functions

    • Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees of the maintenance department
    • Coordinate work performed by outside contractors
    • Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates (Preventive maintenance)
    • Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts
    • Control and monitor inventory (spare parts, tools, equipment, etc.)
    • Implement safety policies and procedures for the department.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required
    • 10+ years’ experience in maintenance management role
    • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
    • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics
    • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
    • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
