    Network Security Planning Engineer

    Division: Network Department

    Core Purpose of the Job

    • To plan and implement a highly effective and cost efficient, end-to-end network security framework within the MTNN voice and customer data networks.

    Job Summary

    • Define, establish and document IP security guidelines, procedures and policies, and implement network security best practices
    • Define Firewall, access lists administration policies
    • Develop test protocol for new applications to prevent compromising security
    • Develop policies for customer authentication
    • Direct the development and enforcement of information security and privacy policies in compliance with MTNN and telecommunication regulations and standards

    Transmission Core Planning Engineer

    Core Purpose of the Job

    • To plan and optimise the transmission network of MTN (especially the Core transmission-Metro, backbone & switch) within the specified region.

    Job Summary

    • Plan  and design core transmission network capacity for mobile traffic backhaul

    Engineering Support Services (ESS) - Power Specialist

    Division: Network Group

    Core Purpose of the Job

    • To co-ordinate the entire operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems at MTNN installations (Network sites, Switch centre and BTS/TX) within the assigned region and provide 2nd level support to regional operations team.

    Job Summary

    • Ensure spare power capacity is available for redundancy and future installations and provide 2nd level support to regional operations in assigned areas/ region.

    Job Summary
