Health and Safety Superintendent at WRS - Worldwide Recruitment Solution

Based with a mining contractor company, who have accounts across several Gold mines in West Africa who are growing and have an opportunity available for a H&S Superintendent on a regional capacity.

You will be required to supervise and assist the teams in health and safety on all the different projects. You will be reporting to the Operations Director and will be required to supervise and lead the demanding overall day to day running of the business.

It is with a mining contractor and the turnaround has been fantastic so far as they strive for success, there is always a continuous improvement strategy and the work you do will have an imminent impact. The positions are long term and when people join they usually stay due to the family culture the company possesses. This is a new position and they need a self-motivated, organised and attention to detail individual to join the team.

This will be on a fly infly out basis with the rotation of 9 weeks on and 3 weeks off. Accommodation and flights provided.

Must Have:

• Expat experience in a mining environment
• Open Pit Experience
• Supervisory/management experience
• French speaking is advantageous
• Previous work with mining contractors
