    Online Reservations Assistant

    Details:
    As a Reservations Assistant you will be responsible for digitally distributing our properties throughout the web via various distribution channels and online portals in addition you will assist the revenue manager recording and processing all reservation inquiries made online and occasionally by phone efficiently and accurately. You will have a good knowledge of the web, our apartment/hotel's facilities and services and will pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises, in order to maximise booking occupancy. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can multi task effectively, be enthusiastic and positive in their nature and have excellent grammar and telephone manners.

    About the role:
    As a Reservations Assistant you support the Revenue Manager to ensure the apartments/hotel meets its revenue targets and other business objective.

    Your duties will include:

    • Upload images, descriptions and price across our website and partner distribution channels
    • Replying to emails and occasionally by phone
    • To proactively distribute via the web our apartments/hotel facilities to ensure the budgeted figures are achieved/exceeded.
    •  Support in handling all enquiries and bookings, offering a personal service as per the standard operating procedures.
    • Communicating and liaising with other departments within our company

    About the successful applicant
    We are seeking an individual who is customer focused and has an excellent command of both verbal and written English.

    You must also be able to demonstrate you are/have:

    • Good web based skills
    • Some reservation or front desk experience
    • An organised approach to work with a focus on attention to detail
    • Ability to take ownership of situations and make decisions
    • Computer literate
    • Ability to listen, to speak and write English clearly
    • Clear, professional and articulate telephone manner
