    Content Strategist

    The candidate

    • Must be able to analyse and write serious topics with wit and humour. Topics to be written are on personal, corporate and public finances, government expenditure, business, the economy and the likes. The writing style should be interesting and simple to be understood easily
    • Will be in charge of ensuring that the bounce rate is always below 10 percent by strategising on ways to engage readers
    • Will ensure that the online content publication style is catchy
    • Will appraise the company’s publication style guide annually and communicate to management any need for updates
    • Must be ready to participate in relevant training programs to update knowledge and skills
    • Will, from time to time, hold training sessions for in-house editorial teams
    • Will be savvy in, develop a strategy for, and direct the use of social media for disseminating online content
    • Will be details attentive, ensuring the correct use of grammar in editing
    • Will monitor performance through web analytics and suggest actions to be taken at any time to ensure search engine optimisation
    • Will make presentations as required by management
    • Is able to handle competing and/or tight deadlines (great organisational skills and attention to details are required)
    • An ability to grow a brand from scratch Having graphics/infographics knowledge will be an advantage.

    Education and qualifications

    • Minimum of a first degree from a tertiary institution
    • Can be of any age (a demonstration of ability is more important.)
    • 2+ years of experience in online content creation (previous work samples must be submitted for appraisal of experience). Publishing and marketing experiences are essential.
    • Must be a high-level thinker
    • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Must be willing to widen knowledge on a wide range of subjects constantly through reading
    • Must demonstrate ability to edit written content and pay high attention to detail
    • Ability to fluently use Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

    Remuneration: #60,000 - #100,000

    Client Service Executive

    Responsibilities include

    • Meeting and greeting clients Warmly receiving visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
    • Representing the company in presenting the company’s services to potential clients
    • Directing visitors to appropriate departments by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions
    • Maintaining security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges
    • Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
    • Maintaining a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; coordinating with cleaning staff and facility officer in this regard
    • Screening potential clients to ensure they meet the required criteria and they comply with the company’s terms and conditions
    • Arranging courier
    • Screening phone calls
    • Sorting and distributing posts
    • Contributing to the company’s team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed
    • Submitting reports as required by management and ensuring data is accurate
    • Keeping and taking record of petty cash
    • Writing contents that will be published on the company’s various platforms
    • Managing and engaging followers on all social media platforms

    Skills and qualities

    • Male or female with a first degree from a tertiary institution
    • Demonstrable telephone and face-to- face speaking and listening skills
    • Clarity in pronunciations and confidence in speech
    • Good presentation skills
    • Microsoft Office skills
    • Professionalism in bearing and comportment
    • Ability to maintain focus on customer and not personal feelings
    • Workplace organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to handle difficult clients
    • Supply management skills
    • Multi-tasking ability
    • Friendliness and politeness to clients
    • Possessing a self-motivated personality
    • Knowledge of accounting software
    • Willingness to constantly update knowledge of the world by reading a wide-range of materials by self or as required by management
    • Recommended Age: Not more than 30
    • Ability to protect the values and confidentiality of information of the organisation, any of its businesses, affiliates and clients
    • Willingness to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading rofessional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organisations

    Education and qualifications

    • Minimum of a first degree from a tertiary institution
    • Qualifications and experience in speaking, speech writing and communication are an added advantage

    Remuneration: #60,000 - #80,000 monthly
