Reports to:
Director of Administration
You will oversee the full spectrum of information management and
administrative services within the institution.
In this capacity, you will:
• Develop and execute strategic plans, coordinate a variety of special
projects and studies for the department of administration
• Develop and monitor the department’s budget
• Provide responsible and complex staff support to the Chief Executive’s Office and the Board
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in any of the social sciences (possession of an MBA or relevant post graduate business qualification will be an advantage)
• Minimum of three years as a confirmed Chief Administrative Officer on GL 14 (CONHESS 12) in a similar institution
• Demonstrable strength in problem-solving, defining needs and initiating actions to achieve goals
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Reports to: Assistant Director of Administration
You will be responsible for a section of the administrative department of the hospital. In this capacity, you will:
• Assist in the formulation, execution and review of policies
• Supervise the training programs of members of staff
• Assist in the general administration of the department
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in any of the social sciences (possession of an MBA or relevant post graduate business qualification will be an advantage)
• Minimum of three years as a confirmed Assistant Administrative Officer on GL 13 (CONHESS 11) in a similar institution
• Strong leadership skills and be self-driven with a deep sense of commitment
Reports to: Chief Administrative Officer
You will take on responsibilities in personnel management, project analysis, financial and investment management and management services.
In this capacity, you will:
Assist in administration, policy formulation, execution and review
Assist in the general administration of the department
Develop systems that will accurately record and report all departmental activities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Three years’ experience as a confirmed Principal Administrative Officer in a similar institution
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following specialities:
o Manpower budgeting and staff inspection
o Pension administration
o Management consulting
o Job evaluation and grading
Familiar with administrative policies and processes in a similar health institution
Reports to: Chief Internal Auditor
you will supervise a number of units in a section. In this capacity, you will:
• Assist in the administration of a section
• Prepare reference sheets and perform other duties associated with statutory reporting and the public work of the accounts committee amongst other functions
• Ensure a high degree of accuracy in all financial documents
• Co-ordinate processes to ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, standards and certifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a confirmed Principal Auditor in a similar institution
• Registered with any of the recognized accounting bodies
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity
• Demonstrable strength in problem solving, defining needs and initiating action to achieve goals
• Mature, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
Reports to: Chief Internal Auditor
You will prepare audit programs independently or as part of a team. In this capacity, you will:
• Determine the type of audit required, the appropriate audit methodology and identify the steps to be followed in the audit
• Conduct audit entrance and exit conferences with executive staff
• Prepare work papers and conduct audits of manual and automated systems in accordance with applicable audit programs and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Report unusual findings to the management; recommend changes based on Audit reviews and assist contracted or other auditors as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in audit services gained from multinational/sizeable organizations
• Registered with any of the recognized accounting bodies
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills, and a high level of integrity
Reports to: Director of Administration
You will work with other managerial staff to ensure the smooth running of all engineering operations and projects.
In this capacity, you will:
• Oversee each phase of installation, equipment maintenance or product development in compliance with industry specifications, federal and state regulations
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the safety and reliability of the system
• Work with team members to generate ideas and clarify solutions
• Delegate tasks as necessary to the engineering team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or any related engineering discipline (possession of a relevant post-graduate discipline will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 15 years’ hands-on experience, at least five of which must have been in a similar institution
• Registration with relevant engineering bodies will be an advantage
Reports to: Chief Engineer
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, service and repair of various generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated
equipment including turbo chargers and fuel injection equipment. In this capacity, you will be responsible for:
• Carrying out fault diagnosis and forward planning on assigned work/projects
• Effecting the most economical and effective layout of electrical installations together with achieving high level of productivity in work assigned
• Ensuring that work performed under your control meets required standards
• Carrying out on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis; and complete all paper work in a timely manner
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in mechanical engineering or any related engineering discipline (possession of a relevant trade test certificate will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 12 years’ hands-on experience assembling and maintaining high-power generators
• Registration with relevant engineering bodies will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people from various levels in the organization
Reports to: Chief Engineer
you will be working in a team. In this capacity, you will:
• Undertake technical and feasibility studies/site investigations
• Resolve design and development problems
• Manage budgets and project resources
• Schedule material and equipment purchase and delivery
• Liaise with clients and a variety of professionals, including architects and sub-contractors, to ensure projects run smoothly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in mechanical engineering or any related engineering discipline (possession of a relevant trade test
certificate will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 12 years’ hands-on experience in civil engineering
• Registration with relevant professional/regulatory bodies will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people from various levels in the organization
Reports to:
Director of Administration
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of the institution. You will:
• Ensure that the institution has the most suitable working environment for its employees and activities
• Be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises
• Co-ordinate procurement and contract management; building and grounds maintenance; cleaning, catering and vending; health and safety; security, utilities and communications infrastructure; space management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in facilities management or any related property management discipline (possession of a relevant post-graduate degree will be an advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in property management
• Registration with relevant professional/regulatory bodies is an advantage
• Demonstrable strength in problem solving, defining needs and initiating action to achieve goals
• Mature, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Proficient in computer application
Reporting to the Director of Administration, you will work directly with the management team to plan and execute the overall
management of the institution’s properties. You will:
• Ensure proper assessment to determine the best use of each property
• Manage the timely provision of property support services
• Effectively screen and oversee vendors and contractors
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Degree-qualified in Estate Management or any related property management discipline (possession of a relevant
post-graduate degree will be an advantage)
• At least 10 years’ experience in property management and valuation
• Registered with and a member of relevant bodies such as NIESV and ESVARBON
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people from various levels in the organization
• Demonstrable strength in problem solving, defining needs and initiating action to achieve goals
• Mature, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment
