Job Description

• This position is challenging and exciting as your key responsibility is to develop a category strategy in emerging markets of Africa .
• Creating direction, driving alignment with Global best practice you would set the tone for the category development that will drive volume and value.
• Working across functions you would be expected to significantly contribute to the commercial planning process.
• Managing multiple stakeholders you would determiine and drive business priorities to lead ROI and long term sustainable growth.
• Working closely with the different sales managers you would set the agenda for the quarters.

Requirements

• As a part of corporate succession planning a need has arisen with a giant in the Consumer Goods industry. With a formidable global equity and an open value based company culture they are a leading employer of choice.
• The incumbent needs to come armed with 15+ years of experience in the fmcg industry , you would be responsible for leading and guiding the organization in Nigeria.
• All functional heads from sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance would be reporting into you ..hence the need is to have an indivudual ideally from a sales / marketing background with some exposure and understanding of the manufacturing side as well.
• The complete package of experience is essential for the role .it is a multi facted role in a growing and challenging market .
• Carrying the P&L for this multi million dollar business ..you would be required to provide strategic direction, have a significant impact on the day to day running of the operations, manage and motivate a large team which is growing as well.
• Ability to look at the large picture, understand the variances in market and take the company forward on a sustainable business model is essential.
