    Human Resources Manager

    Details:

    Our client, a fully registered holding company with several subsidiaries is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their growing team.

    Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
    • Plans organizes and controls all activities of the department.
    • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
    • Implements and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
    • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
    • Effectively liaise with government agencies like LIRS, NSITF, ITF and HMOs.
    • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements.
    • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.
    • Maintains company organization charts and employee directory.
    • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals.
    • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
    • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Applies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
    • Strong interest in innovative HR solutions and process improvement
    • Understanding of HR concepts and principles with expertise in a specialty area such as staffing, analytics, facilitation, etc
    • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
    • Proponent of the segmented HR model, understands the benefits

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Degree qualified in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR-related disciplines
    • Minimum of 8 years professional work in the Human Resources function with responsibilities such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee development or performance management; at least 5 of which has been at supervisory/managerial levels.
    • Relevant professional qualification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, CIPD will be an added advantage
    • Previous experience in Consulting desirable
    • Good people skills and knowledge of employment laws (local and international) are required

    Head, Business Development

    Details:

    We are resourcing for a Head, Business Development for our client, an integrated payment and transaction processing company. Our client services Oil & Gas, Government, Education and Financial Services.

    Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will support business growth across all solutions and the achievement of firms' revenue targets by articulating and managing the delivery of
    an effective sales plan. A key component of this role will be to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the sales team and ensure sales and service targets are continuously achieved to
    deliver business results. The role oversees both Corporate and Consumer segments of the business.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support the Divisional CEO in budget preparation and champion the delivery of the team’s budget.
    • Provide insights to the Divisional CEO to support the development of the Sales strategic plan and execution approach.
    • Oversee the generation of relevant market intelligence and feed this to the Divisional CEO towards crafting effective strategies to improve product market share.
    • Report all team activities on budget allocation and execution to the Divisional CEO.
    • Promptly flag off any risk or compliance issues likely to affect sales opportunities (existing/potential).
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals for firms' requests and protect the interest of firms' during the formulation of regulatory policies.
    • Review set targets against actual with the Divisional CEO with respect to sales turnover and revenue generated using CRM.
    • Prospect for new opportunities and identify new profitable customers for the firms' products/Services.
    • Negotiate contract and payment terms with clients, review and prepare tenets of agreements/ MOU/NDA and work with the Legal team to finalize and execute the contracts with clients.
    • Carry out research with existing clients to gather market intelligence in relation to the Organization’s products and services.
    • Work with other Group Heads to close any risks/compliance issues identified during the risk assessment and audit exercise.
    • Coach, challenge team members and work to ensure that they are empowered to deliver on agreed targets.
    • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly reports on sales activities to the Divisional CEO.

    • A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience in the Sales /Marketing unit of a similar organization.
    • Possession of Certified Sales Professional qualification(s) will be an advantage.
    • Good Strategic thinking abilities, market research and information gathering.
    • Good Knowledge of payment and e-commerce products and services.
