    Head of Treasury

    Role

    • The company is seeking an individual with a broad experience of Finance.
    • The ideal candidate will handle the balance sheet and liquidity, as well as price risk mismatches, assuming overall responsibility for FX and Money Market activities

    Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • The day-to-day management of the liquidity position and FX Risk for the company including the day-to-day compliance with internal Policies and Guidelines, Local regulatory requirements, local payment system and liquidity requirements
    • The management of both revenue and cost budgets
    • Overall draft and implement the company risk policies
    • Strategic management of the company’s balance sheet risks
    • Propose, negotiate and regularly advise on the Funds Transfer Pricing Policy for the company, in a consistent manner and in compliance with the company policies, taking into account local market dynamics
    • Show creativity when proposing solutions to specific funding problems, engineering solutions and 'thinking outside of the box'
    • Prove ability in managing change, especially when imposed by the external environment (regulatory)
    • Proactively manage FX, liquidity and market risk for the company
    • Operational Management of the company balance Sheet Risks
    • Achieve Financial budgets through
    • Enhance relationships with Clients

    Requirements

    • Educated in Finance with excellent conceptual and practical knowledge of financial markets
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience of working in Treasury
    • Ideally an understanding of the operating environment dynamics, Logistics market with products and management structures of a large and successful operation
    • Strong network of personal contacts
    • Strong interpersonal skills and high levels of maturity to manage interaction with different
    • Strong analytical and communication skills to find complex strategies and funding solutions.
    • Ability to articulate market views and translate into trading strategies
    • Extensive Treasury, Markets and Risk Management knowledge, with a thorough understanding of FX, Money Markets
    • Track record of profit generation and discipline in managing large market risk exposures.
    • Strong achievement orientations and an ability to work under pressure.

    Human Resource Director

    Job Description

    • The HR Director provides leadership for the Human Resources functions as well as expert advice on all HR related matters.
    • The position reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for the entire HR operation.
    • This position will contribute to strategic direction of the company and will interact with the board of Directors.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Review, Plan and Implement a company wide exemplary Human Resources strategy
    • Reviews, consults and makes recommendations to the Executive Management team regarding various HR related matters such as: performance management, leaves of absence, promotions, terminations, job grading, development, performance and salary reviews, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations, disciplinary and retention etc.
    • Manages Human Resources operations by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching staff
    • Owns the entire recruitment process and recruitment team with responsibility in driving a robust hiring process that provides exceptional talent to the organization
    • Ensures the employees and organization adherence to company policies and applicable employment law and enforces organization values and company vision
    • Develop, administer, and present employee climate survey, new hire survey, and exit interview assessments
    • Assists in developing better workflow, communication and business processes across the business
    • Consults and responds to employee complaints in a professional manner, and assists with conducting preliminary investigations as needed
    • Initiates, develops and implements various HR related programs including projects such as HR related technology systems

    Requirements

    • At least 10 years’ experience in Human Resources in an international environment
    • Qualified or equivalent HR education
    • Experience in the following: performance management, leaves of absence, promotions, terminations, job grading, development, performance and salary reviews, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention etc
    • Experience in complete HR systems
    • Ability to improve workflow, communication and business processes, continuous improvement
    • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Nigeria and ideally internationally
    • Able to uphold strict confidentiality with HR information
    • A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective
    • A people person
    • Excellent business acumen, able to understanding on business drivers and technologies
