    Marketing Executive Intern

    Job Description

    The primary role of marketing executive will be to register new suppliers, obtain product samples and pictures, advice on market trends, negotiate prices and co-ordinate the shipping of items to the UK.

    The job will be well suited for applicants with a passion for fashion design, retail or marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    • “Get sellers on the platform" using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, networking etc)
    • Plan, organize, and execute sales and marketing activities
    • Evaluate sellers' products and build productive long lasting relationships
    • Research local markets and generate and follow through leads to bring in new sellers
    • Attend meeting, sales events, trade shows and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments in the fashion and artisan market
    • Provide operation support to sellers

     Qualifications and Job Requirements

    • HND/Degree in marketing or social studies related course
    • Preference of minimum 2 years marketing experience
    • Self-motivated, independent and able to work with a virtual team
    • Familiar with the local fashion and craft industry
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Personal quality of integrity, credibility, and commitment
    • Computer use competency

    Further Information

    This is application is for an internship position for a period of 3 – 6 months with a competitive salary dependent on the candidates experience and ability.
