    Media Buyer Officer

    Our client, is a global full service digital marketing agency, driven by the purpose to deliver border-less ideas enabled through technology, to transform businesses and brands. They have over 1000 digital pioneers in offices across markets worldwide.

    Job Summary

    • The Media buyer shall be purchasing advertising space in print, outdoor, broadcast, and online outlets, such as magazines, billboards, radio stations, television stations, and websites.
    • He/she shall negotiates with advertising sales agents to acquire cost-efficient and budget-conscious advertising space or product placements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Book Media slots with media owners based on brief (PO and Plan) from advertisers/agencies.
    • Negotiations: Volume discount, gratis/value add special discount, special positioning etc.
    • Implementation: Ensure that media owners receive and implement contracts issued.
    • Billings: Ensure the advertiser is billed correctly and on time.
    • Co-ordinate queries arising from materials and compliance.
    • Media sales: Sell inventory acquired by the agency to prospective clients (agencies and advertisers).
    • Advise, recommend and request for due payments to media owners.
    • Regularly liaise with Finance on Receivables and Payables Reconciliation.
    • Any other tasks that may arise from time to time, pursuant to professional and profitable operations of the Business.
    • Weekly/ Monthly Profitability of Operations
    • Media Investments monitoring.

    Man Specification
    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Media, or relevant Courses.

     Experience Required:

    • 4+ years of experience in media buying.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, juggling various projects and meeting strict deadlines.
    • Self-starter who can take responsibility for completing assigned projects efficiently
