- The Media buyer shall be purchasing advertising space in print, outdoor, broadcast, and online outlets, such as magazines, billboards, radio stations, television stations, and websites.
- He/she shall negotiates with advertising sales agents to acquire cost-efficient and budget-conscious advertising space or product placements.
Job Responsibilities
- Book Media slots with media owners based on brief (PO and Plan) from advertisers/agencies.
- Negotiations: Volume discount, gratis/value add special discount, special positioning etc.
- Implementation: Ensure that media owners receive and implement contracts issued.
- Billings: Ensure the advertiser is billed correctly and on time.
- Co-ordinate queries arising from materials and compliance.
- Media sales: Sell inventory acquired by the agency to prospective clients (agencies and advertisers).
