    Lawyer (Real Estate)

    Job Summary: The person provides legal advice to the organisation and handles all real estate related legal issues like; preparation and review of documents, the negotiation of terms and conditions, the transference of titles and provide legal advice to the organisation. He/she will prepare resolutions and forms, and participates in major legal actions on behalf of the organisation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Are you the one we are looking for? Then you should know that you would be responsible for the following:
    • Reviewing the Agreement of Purchase and Sale and note any deadlines to insure the deal proceeds as scheduled.
    • Organizing and maintaining all legal files and proper filling of all legal documents
    • Prepare legal document including legal briefs, court orders and other office related matter
    • Attending legal proceedings on behalf of the organisation

    Desired Competencies & Experience

    To be selected for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

    •         Must possess minimum of a degree in law, LB; B.L.
    •         Must have a minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience in real estate
    •         Sound knowledge of the real estate market and clients management

    •         Thorough understanding of general and specific Land Use Acts &  Property Law

    Operations Manager (Hotel)

    Job Summary:  The incumbent will oversee the general operations of the hotel including maintenance, security, human resources, food services, etc.

    Responsibilities

    Are you the one we are looking for? Then you should know that you would be responsible for the following:

    • Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running the hotel.
    • Ensure the premises are in operative condition to receive & serve guests.
    • Conduct regular operations team meeting with all Head of Departments to discuss routine operational matters and also any staff issues.
    • Inspecting all departments with their respective Manager's for cleanliness, ambiance, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture.
    • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
    • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
    • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
    • Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Desired Competencies & Experience

    • Excellent revenue management skills with experience of budgets.
    • Working with colleagues to share skills, knowledge, resources and networks.
    • Highly focused, have excellent communication skills; be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
    • A Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management with a minimum of a First Class or Second Class Upper degree will be preferable.
    • Computer Knowledge, MS office.
    • Minimum 3 to 4 years work experience in a 3 to 5 Star Hotel as a Deputy Manager, Asst. Operations Manager or Hotel Manager.

    Accountant/Auditor

    Location: Lagos-Mainland

    Job Summary: The auditor will ensure that the group’s internal audit and regulatory policies are being complied with and ensure the effective and efficiency of operations, safeguard logical assets while complying with policies, applicable laws and regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Are you the one we are looking for? Then you should know that you would be responsible for the following:
    • Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
    • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
    • Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
    • Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
    • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
    • Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records, using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning.
    • Supervise auditing of establishments, and determine scope of investigation required.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
    • Confer with company officials about financial and regulatory matters.
    • Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.

    Desired Competencies & Experience

    To be selected for this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following competencies.

    • First-Class degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Economics or other numerate discipline
    • An MBA or MSc in a Finance-related discipline is desirable
    • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized professional body
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial management / accounting and audit function
    • Proven experience with audit and investigation procedures
    • Advanced financial and accounting knowledge
    • Experience in policy formulation and implementation
    • Good understanding of relevant financial/banking regulations
    • Strong business acumen and tact, and an ability to relate with highest levels of Management at financial institutions
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding leadership, supervisory and people management skills
    • Good sense of judgment
    • High level of integrity and maintenance of sound ethics
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • High level of initiative and good attention to detail
    • High level strategic thinking capabilities.
