Reporting to: - Project Manager/Country Manager.
Must possess a degree in Mining Engineering or its equivalent, 10-15 years working experience in the same capacity and be computer literate in Microsoft packages
The person must possess the skills and abilities to manage quarry operations, ensuring achievement of . planned work schedule within contractual, procedural and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including the Nigeria Mining Act.
Ability to create and read designs and blast patterns.
Liaise with maintenance department on equipment supply availability issues.
Liaise with the Client representatives on operation and safety issues.
Ensure incident reports are initiated and investigated.
Encourage hazard reporting and the development of hazard controls.
Liaise with the Client representatives on invoice compilation, negotiations and reconciliation.
Reporting to: - Project Manager,Quarry Superintendent! Quarry Manager.
A degree in Mining Engineering or its equivalent will be desirable, 5 -7 years working experience in the same capacity and be computer literate in Microsoft packages.
The person must possess the skills and abilities to supervise the quarry operations department by ensuring achievement of daily work schedule within procedural and legal requirements.
Organise work groups to maximise site productivity requirement.
Liaise with the drill and blast team to ensure drill areas are prepared to an acceptable standard in a timely and thorough manner.
Ability to create and read designs and blast patterns
Ensure all subordinates comply with legitimate instructions as issued.
Liaise with the client representatives on operational and safety Issues.
Liaise with maintenance department on planning and equipment breakdown issues.
Reporting to: - Maintenance Manager.
Must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Test or its equivalent, 7- 10 years working experience in the Maintenance of Heavy Duty Earth Moving Equipment (Excavators, Bulldozers, Graders, Wheel Loaders, Dump Trucks etc.) and be computer literate in Microsoft packages.
He/She must be familiar with the use of Electronic Technology for diagnostics and fault finding.
Liaise with production department on Equipment breakdown / availability issues.
Liaise with maintenance planner to order parts for major shutdowns.
Ensure maintenance work objectives are safely met.
Liaise with contract equipment companies, suppliers, product, support, staff and personnel.
All position must possess good communication skills, organisational skills, be a team player, exhibit leadership skills and possess a valid class E driving licence.
