The Skills Outside School Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered as in IT (70340) in June 2014 at the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria and a Company Limited by Guarantee (09365183) at the Companies House, UK.
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
The Financial Secretary is responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining cash controls, supervising and managing payroll with close liaison with the Admin and HR function, approving and settling expenses claim, cash advance etc. maintaining accounts payable, managing the Foundation’s income and expenditure, producing the organization’s budget, liaising with the Stakeholder Relations team to produce the Foundation’s annual report, liaising with auditors to audit the Foundation’s accounts and file returns with the Corporate Affairs Commission. .
The Financial Secretary must work within the Foundation’s policies and procedures and in compliance with guidelines established by the Board on finance.
The Financial Secretary would administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the Skills Outside School Foundation finances are maintained in an accurate, transparent and timely manner.
