  • A leading player in the Financial Services Sector of the economy requires the services of suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions indicated below at its Lagos Head Office.

    Personal Assistant to the Group Managing Director

     

    The Job:
    Provide executive assistance to the Group Managing Director in the formulation and execution of the company's vision, current and long range objectives, planning and policies.
    Support the Group Managing Director in the provision of key information to various internal and external stakeholders as regards regulatory issues, market trends, competitive environment, business performance and other pertinent issues.
    Review business and project plans, activity status report, financial statements and undertake technical analysis and oversea various time-critical assignments.

    Skills:
    Experienced in Administrative/Executive Assistant role in a high pressure environment requiring tact, judgment and discretion in handling internal and external contacts (very essential)
    Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
    Excellent computer skills, literate in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
    The ideal candidate must be highly analytical, proficient in English language and should be able to write well researched policy papers.

    Qualification/Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree (Minimum of Second Class upper) in Accountancy, Economics or Business Administration, plus a higher degree (Ph.D will be an added advantage)
    Possession of professional certification such as ACA, AIB. ACII is desirable.
    Must have at least 5 years hands on experience either as an Economist or Accountant in a structured environment (preferably in a bank or Insurance Company).
    Experience as a lecturer in Economics or Business Administration with published articles will be added advantage.

    Head, Oil and Gas Insurance

     

    The Job:
    Will be the Team Leader in the marketing of insurance products and services to the Oil & Gas industry in the country.
    Expected to playa leading role in the achievement of set production targets for the year.
    Develop new markets for the company with the majors, marginals and other operators in the upstream, mid-stream and downstream sectors of the industry in Nigeria.
    Develop, enhance and maximize business leads and act as the business development strategist for the company.

    Skills:
    Demonstrate adequate knowledge of basic insurance products
    Proven business development skills.
    Demonstrable marketing skills, technical skills, presentation skills, insurance knowledge, communication skills and industry knowledge.
    A good knowledge of the Oil & Gas insurance underwriting and marketing

    Qualification:
    First degree/HND in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or any other numeric discipline
    Possession of Higher degree especially the MBA would be an added advantage
    Should be fully qualified (ACIIN, ACII) .
    At least years post-NYSC experience most of which should be hands-on experience in an insurance company and or insurance broking environment with reference to Oil & Gas and energy.
