WOW Jobs - Our client is a consumer electronics brand with retail chain stores spread across the country, as well as an online store. They are looking for an experienced Modern Trade Sales Manager to head up their Modern Trade Channels here in Nigeria, selling to different online stores like Jumia, Konga amongst others.
- As the Channel Manager for Modern Trade, you will manage and build strong business relationships with all the key online stores/supermarket accounts under your portfolio.
- You will manage and oversee the profitability of your business by developing long-term and short-term sales goals, as well as channel strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Through your strong understanding of the market, you will identify growth opportunities and develop sales activities for your channel. Working closely with the product and trade marketing teams, you will oversee the performance of the accounts in terms of their category and shelf analysis, sales and promotional effectiveness.
- You will be part of a team whose performance measurement is based on achieving sales targets, trade promotion development and execution.
The ideal candidate has an excellent sales track record as well as effective sales, planning, leadership and people management experience within the modern trade (online stores/supermarkets) industry.
Will be degree qualified with a minimum of 2 years of relevant account management experience in online store/supermarket channel in Nigeria.
