    HR Director

    Job Description

    • The expectation from the incumbent is to devise end to end business pertinent HR policies / customizations right through the staffing, PMS, Engagement and Introducing career, learning and growth paths for employees but also, to deal with all HR issues efficiently to help achieve the overall business goals.
    • He/she will have to ensure the development and implementation of the Group’s policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements, best practice and innovative approaches.
    • The candidate should be a strong HR Generalist with a proven record of delivering results. He/she must demonstrate a can do attitude and have the capability to motivate and challenge a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, performance appraisals and quality management issues)
    • Establish and maintain appropriate RH systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
    • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
    • Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
    • Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements

    • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales

    Expectations

    • Business school or equivalent specialization in HR management
    • Must have minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position especially in a large industrial setup handling all HR and IR matters.
    • Thorough knowledge of Program Planning, implementation and evaluation principles, practices and procedures
    • Should have good analytical and numeracy skills
    • Excellent in problem solving, analytical skills
    • Ability to work in multicultural environment and under pressure.

    Job Description

    • To establish, maintain and operate a planning system in accordance with the Planning Procedures, providing effective planning control/technical support to the project team throughout the life of each project, in order to bring about a successful contract completion.

    Responsibilities
    Project planner carries out various responsibilities throughout Tender, Contract Stage and contract completion and has the following duties:

    • Reviews tender documents and produces a list of planning deliverables.
    • Attends strategy meetings to allow a full understanding of the bid scope and current status, and also produces schedule relating to planning aspects.
    • Attends a Contract Commencement Meeting to discuss with the project team the strategy in which the programme and method has been based on, reviews programme, method and logistics.
    • Ensures the Master Contract Programme is issued to the client.
    • Prepares monthly project reports encompassing technical, operational and contractual issues.
    • Ability to work closely with Project Managers and other team members throughout the design process in order to prepare and maintain master resource schedules, provides assistance and guidance where required.
    • Implements structured work methods to maintain high performance levels within design teams.
    • Professional and practical experiences in schedule development.
    • Coordinates with site team to check on progress and issues.
    • Coordinates and monitors other departments to ensure design received on time, subcontracts placed when required and materials arrive on site when necessary.
    • Manpower planning.
    • Demonstrated scheduling skills, with the development of logic, durations and constraints with project teams for each task assignment.
    • Monitors and reports critical path and schedule performance.
    • Updates actual progress and forecasts remaining work schedule.

    Expectations

    • Diploma /Degree in Engineering.

    • Working knowledge/ background in continuous improvement in a large organisation essential
    • Working knowledge / background of both Manufacturing and Packaging Operations within the supply chain (end to end)
    • Good understanding of regulatory constraints
    • Able to grasp operational issues quickly and take preventative or corrective decisions as required

    Production Head

    To ensure all production activities and lead team in producing quality products as per applicable standards in an efficient and cost effective manner.

    • Will be fully responsible for all machines, equipment and staff within the department
    • Set-up production and make sure all needed machines are functioning well and required materials are available before start of shift
    • Follow and respect production and maintenance procedures in daily operations
    • Lead a team of supervisors and operators to maximize production with the given resources at your disposal
    • Solve basic mechanical and electrical faults on machines and work closely with the Maintenance Department to reduce down time
    • Work closely with process and machine setters to optimize cycle time.
    • Work closely with Mould department to optimize cavities and respect daily preventive maintenance.
    • Liaise with Operations Manager and Maintenance department to schedule machines and moulds to optimize production
    • Submit and declare all production quantities, breakdowns etc according to the data collection sheet at the close of shift to Factory Manager
    • Declare inventory of all materials (neatly arranged) left at work stations at the close of work order
    • Ensure team members keep and respect allocated production time i.e start to finish time
    • Work in conjunction with the Quality Control department to ensure all products meet the required standards
    • Will be required to present production report on daily basis during production meetings and also present action plan and follow up of previous days actions
    • Keep production area tidy during working time and at close of shift
    • Ensure applicable 5S methodology is applied in housekeeping and at all work areas
    • Ensure team members comply with usage of applicable PPEs
    • Prepare weekly duty roster according to weekly production order given by Operations Manager
    • Ensure full compliance of all health and safety regulations and procedures at your department
    • Perform any other duties as will be assigned by management from time to time

    Expectations

    • Minimum of 5 years working experience based on level of education in a plastics manufacturing company
    • Qualification in Mechanical and or Electrical discipline is an advantage
    • Supervisory/management/leadership skills experience
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate innovative ideas/techniques in maintenance/problem solving
    • Computer literate and able to write reports in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Have good command of the English Language
