A Dredging and Consultancy Company with offices in Lekki seeks to engage the services of a Company Secretary.
- Statutory Compliance functions including but not limited to:
- Maintaining the Company’s statutory books and registers
- Filing of statutory returns at the Corporate Affairs Commission and other relevant regulatory agencies
- Coordinating Company Registrations and annual renewals with regulatory agencies
- Interfacing with and making representations to regulators on behalf of the Company
- Working with Management towards the efficient management and mitigation of the risk of non-compliance.
Company Secretarial functions including but not limited to:
- Convening and Coordinating Meetings of the Board of Directors and Statutory Meetings
- Ensuring compliance of Board and Company meetings with the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
- Documenting minutes of meetings and resolutions and filing resolutions with the Corporate Affairs Commission
- Drafting and reviewing agreements, correspondence, commercial offers and other documents.
Tenders Management including:
- Coordination of tender preparation and submission
- Follow up with Contractors after submission
General HR Management and Administrative Functions including:
- Determining staffing requirements, conducting interviews and induction/training of new employees
- Managing staff through preparation of work schedules, assigning specific duties and overseeing personnel processes.
- Development and implementation of departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures through due deliberations with the management team and staff members as necessary
- Preparation of reports needed to monitor and track projects.
