To be responsible for the overall Monitoring and Evaluation system of the programme, ensuring programme performance meets client, corporate and programme quality standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To lead on programme monitoring and evaluation activities for the whole programme, overseeing the M&E activities at the Federal level and in focal states and LGAs.
To lead on the reporting, collation, documentation, and dissemination of outputs, outcomes and impacts of programme interventions
To contribute to the programme’s preparation for periodic external evaluation such as annual, mid-term and final evaluation
To contribute to preparation of reports to internal/external clients and customers, ensuring reporting standards are in accordance with client and corporate standards
To ensure the inclusion of all relevant M&E activities into internal planning processes
To oversee and guiding the work of the Programme Officers with M&E responsibilities in the four field offices, providing capacity support, technical guidance and relevant trainings and act as a focal point for the dispersed M&E team
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Masters’ degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, other relevant fields appropriate experience.
Experience with Monitoring and Evaluation of development and /or peacebuilding projects, including the management of a team of M&E officers; experience with DFID projects and logframes.
Clear ability to identify, design, plan, manage and evaluate projects from initiation to completion and to achieve the stated outputs and results and keep to budget, timescale and client satisfaction.
Previous experience in managing and guiding staff in the implementation of their work.
To be responsible for implementation of NSRP Communications Strategy, ensuring that communication of programme’s mission, objectives, outputs and outcomes meets client, corporate and programme quality standards. To encourage and enhance effective programme communications, creatively using a range of communications channels, and making staff and stakeholders effective communicators of the programme’s mission, values and brand.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring that both internal and external communications are line with the programme’s Communications strategy.
Supporting staff, stakeholders and grantees to project the brand of the programme
Design and preparation of concept notes and budgets for communications activities
Collation and editing of materials for the NSRP website and support quality assurance of website content
Management of the drop-box of the programme
Provide communications support service to the Outputs and Components of the programme .Support the media outreach activities of the programme. Support the planning and implementation of public relations activities
To support technical reporting to internal/external clients and customers, ensuring reporting standards are in accordance with client and corporate standards
To be responsible for providing communications support to monitoring and evaluation functions, including support to grantees and stakeholders to communicate outputs and outcomes of programme activities
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Bachelors’ degree in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Clear ability to manage communications in a development programme. Clear ability to manage the NSRP brand and support development of innovative ways of marketing the brand. Clear capacity to achieve the stated outputs and results and keep to budget as well as meet timescale and client satisfaction.
Experience of management content of website and good knowledge of online storage devices and social media such as dropbox, facebook and twitter.
To be responsible for the planning and implementation of research and policy advocacy activities, ensuring that project research and advocacy outputs meet client, corporate and programme quality standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The preparation of concept notes and budgets for implementation of research and advocacy activities.
The management of research and advocacy activities
Support the identification of programming opportunities for attaining the outcome of the research and advocacy component
Provide desktop research support for the programme
Provide editorial support for review of reports and outputs of research and advocacy activities
Facilitate meetings and activities of NSRP Research Users Committee, NSRP Research Advisory Committee as well as other activities of the Research Component
Financial and technical reporting to internal/external clients and customers, ensuring reporting standards are in accordance with client and corporate standards
To support implementation all project monitoring and evaluation activities, including desktop studies, surveys and longitudinal studies
To be responsible for capturing and communicating the findings from feedback on research and advocacy activities
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Bachelors’ degree or Postgraduate diploma in Social Sciences.
Clear ability to identify, design, plan, manage and evaluate research projects from initiation to completion. Clear ability to achieve the stated outputs and results and keep to budget as well as meet timescale and client satisfaction.
Experience of preparing, reviewing and disseminating research reports.
To support implementation of a specified project or number of projects, ensuring project management and financial management meets client, corporate and programme quality standards.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility for the implementation of an agreed portfolio of projects within NSRP, ensuring documentation and processes are consistent with client, corporate and programme standards
Responsibility for compliance with corporate systems
Procurement and management of internal and external resources for specific activities in consultation with Procurement Officer/ Resources Officer (Abuja based)
Risk management (identification, reporting and management) of designated area of work ensuring risks are identified and reported in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the Regional Coordinator / Operations Manager
Designing of activity plans and schedules ensuring project activities are delivered on time, to quality and cost targets and client satisfaction
Identify and implement improvements to project delivery
To support financial and technical reporting to internal/external clients and customers, ensuring reporting standards are in accordance with client and corporate standards
To lead on project monitoring and evaluation activities in the state/region in conjunction with the M and E adviser based in Abuja
Managing project-level finances using programme systems for an agreed portfolio of NRSP projects, ensuring client, corporate and programme standards are met
Qualified candidates should possess the following:
Masters degree or equivalent or appropriate experience.
Clear ability to identify, design, plan, manage and evaluate projects from initiation to completion and to achieve the stated outputs and results and keep to budget, timescale and client satisfaction.
Experience of costing and managing project budgets and using corporate financial management systems and controls.
