The "Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme" (ECEWS) seeks to improve education and health in Nigeria.
ECEWS runs a Sexual and Reproductive Health intervention project in Cross River State. The project has various components, including the training of health workers in HIV integration and the support of a Youth Health Confidence Center.
The Sexual and Reproductive Health intervention project is funded by the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA).
The goal of the project is to reduce the rate of sexually transmitted infections among young people and to promote family planning and HIV treatment and care across target states.
