    Agronomist - Market Intelligence & CRM Officer

    Job Summary

    • Provide sales force and West Central Africa Marketing Team with more clarity and insights on Nigerian agriculture, crop protection and seeds market industry.
    • Implement, deploy, fill up CRM tool and manage reports to make information available to West Central Africa Marketing Team and Nigeria local sales force.
    • Contribute to set up Nigeria marketing plan in coordination with  West Central Africa management and Marketing team

    Responsibilities:

    • Collect market and crops data for Nigeria
    • Extract report by customers, crop and products segment for Nigeria
    • Create key Nigeria customers lists and mapping both at National and districts level
    • Participate to CRM implementation and maintain the database for Nigeria
    • Help to manage and fill Marketing tools for Nigeria
    • Build up documentations to support the product sales in Nigeria
    • Build up and maintain a Nigeria competition database
    • Design specific Nigeria market surveys in cooperation with West Central Africa marketing team

    Competencies:

    Requirements (Skills, experience and qualifications):

    • Preferably agronomist or agro economist
    • Good experience in data management systems.

    Procurement Manager (Raw Materials, Engineering, Packaging)

    Job Summary:

    • Implementation of strategic procurement policy in line with company objectives.
    • Implementation of the supply chain strategies.
    • Ensure availability of all critical raw materials, packaging, engineering and consumables of the right quantity at the right price and time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establish and maintain record of sufficient sources for all materials at very competitive prices.
    • Obtains stock replenishment advice for all materials from planning manager.
    • Obtain stock replenishment advice for all materials from planning Manager, place adverts, and collates and analyses the quotations in line with the division's policy.
    • Raises indents on suppliers.
    • Strictly adhere to the company policy on stock covers based on the planners updates to avoid over/under stocking.
    • Keep a dossier of updated information on raw materials specifications and ensure suppliers are duly informed.
    • Keep record of key suppliers.
    • Ensures Local Purchase Orders for all materials carry approved specifications.

    Qualifications/Skills Required

    • Must have 5 years of warehouse and/or purchasing experience.
    • Background using SAP and all Microsoft Office products.
    • Strong technical acumen with knowledge of component manufacturing and assembly processes; ability to read mechanical drawings.
    • Ability to work in a team environment in a support/service capacity as well as individually in a project leader role.
    • Negotiation, problem solving and financial analysis skills.

    Buyer

    Job Summary:

    • Responsible for managing the procurement, ordering, supplier relationship management in the Technical procurement spend pool for the entire company and maintains all stock of technical spares at established optimal levels.
    • Responsible for materials marketing intelligence, formulation of buying strategy, supplier selection and relationship management as well as buying negotiation and management of purchasing process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receives purchase requests for processing into purchase orders and tracks the activity to ensure an on time quality delivery.
    • Procures raw materials for tooling and machine builds.
    • Acts as a Leader for project sourcing to include scheduling and adherence to budget.
    • Ensures suppliers adhere to prescribed work and delivery schedules.
    • Utilizes sound negotiation and value analysis skills to reduce overall procurement costs
    • Works directly with the project team (operations, engineering, and program management) to ensure suppliers understand company requirements and can deliver as needed. Reports status to the team and provides solutions to delivery and/or quality issues.
    • Processes orders and updates material delivery status through SAP
    • Evaluates, selects and negotiates with appropriate suppliers based on supplier capacities, capabilities, cost and quality.
    • Maintains and develops new suppliers.
    • Maintains accurate and complete records related to all purchasing and supporting activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or other relevant area
    • 5+ years’ experience in Purchasing, Engineering, or Operations in a Manufacturing environment. Specific experience in purchasing or engineering of tooling and/or automation equipment a plus.
    • Background using SAP and all Microsoft Office products.
