    Management Controller

    Key Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Manage the period close process, coordinate with departments and maintain systems to ensure accurate accruals and balance sheet reconciliations are in line with internal and corporate deadlines.
    • Manage general ledger function and month end/year end close process.
    • Review sales Profit and loss account: actual against budgeted performances and prepare reports explaining variations.
    • Produce and analyze a detailed report on overheads each month as well as journal adjustments and accruals.
    • Provide weekly/monthly sales reports and product profitability analysis to support sales and marketing team in strategic business decisions.
    • Manage external audit process.
    • Responsible for safeguarding integrity of registrations, monitor and follow-up on irregularities.
    • Execute ad-hoc investigate on request of Finance Director.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Good working experience utilizing SAP or a recognized ERP software.
    • Proficiency in the use of Mircosoft Excel package.
    • Detailed knowledge and understanding of accounting and manufacturing principles.
    • Hands-on and practical approach to solving problems.
    • Working knowledge of production control procedures.

    Prerequisites (minimum requirement)

    • Bachelor of Science (BSc) - Second Class Lower
    • Higher National Diploma (HND) - Upper Credit
    • Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)
    • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
    • 8 - 12 years
