Technical Assistance for Development and Operationalization of National Monitoring and Evaluation System -The Gambia
The Government of The Gambia seeks applications from suitably qualified candidates to provide technical assistance (TA) in monitoring and evaluation. The TA will establish a monitoring and evaluation system as part of the overall results monitoring framework of the Gambia National Agricultural Investment Plan (GNAIP), as well as the Country Programme Approach of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The TA will work under the overall guidance and supervision of the Projects Coordinator, Central Projects Coordination Unit-CPCU/GNAIP of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The selected candidate will have at least a Master's degree or its equivalent in agriculture/rural development, economics and related areas. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in results-based management and M&E in the agricultural and rural development sectors in sub- Saharan Africa is required. The TA will undertake independent extensive visits as required.
The contract will be for a total of 24 months and will be renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. The TA will be based at CPCU/GNAIP, Ministry of Agriculture, Banjul. Salaries and allowances will be based on internationally competitive rates.
