    Front Desk Officer

    Details:

    • Pleasantly attending to all patients and clients.
    • Scheduling patient appointments.
    • Required to create and manage medical records both manually and through the use of computer software.
    • Making phone calls to affiliated HMOs for the receipt of pre-authorization codes.
    • Answering and routing phone calls and checking messages.
    • Providing information about the organization to all clients
    • Assisting the doctors by providing them with relevant front desk process information.
    • Quick vetting of prepared bills prior patient or client retreat.
    • Accepting additional assignments and tasks as needed for the department.
    • Follow-through with the endorsement of prepared medical documents
    • Entering and documenting required medical information.
    • Other administrative duties such as opening and sorting mails.
    • Organizing and maintaining the filing system
    • Checking and managing the effective use of office supplies and stationeries
    • Regular communications and development of reports, work plan, time schedule and related problems to immediate supervisor.
    • Ensure all electronic appliances are switched off at the close of work daily.
    • Collation of daily hospital attendance figures.
    • Performing basic word processing task
    • Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

    Nursing Sister In Charge

    The Successful candidates will possess:

    • A nursing certificate/degree from an accredited nursing school in Nigeria/Abroad with at least 5 years of practice
    • Midwifery qualification essential
    • Valid practice license from the nursing and Midwifery council
    • The applicant will have practiced continuously as a nurse-Midwife for the last 12 months
    • A minimum of three years’ experience in nursing administration or a comparable management position. 
    • Must possess and demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills. 
    • A valid Basic Life support certificate from an authorized provider is desirable
    • Computer literacy is essential
    • An understanding of the importance of the patient as the central focus of care;
    • The ability to prioritise tasks and information appropriately;
    • Initiative and the ability to deal effectively with pressure and/or challenge
    • Willingness to learn and unlearn
