    Head, Marketing Communications

    Job Summary

    • Build a stronger, vibrant brand and improve the brand equity
    • Develop and ensure implementation of the company's marketing communication strategy for various segments.
    • Ensure Etisalat's brand visibility via appropriate communication channels e.g. print and electronic media.

    Principal Functions
    Tactical:

    • Provide input to the articulation of Etisalat's marketing communication strategy including policies, procedures and guidelines.
    • Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to the unit's activities.
    • Continuously review the unit's activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
    • Identify required resources, personnel and funding to achieve the unit's strategy.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders especially media agencies.

    Operational:

    • Coordinate all activities of the marketing communication function and ensure compliance with defined policies, procedures and guidelines.
    • Execute marketing communication plans for promotions, events/sponsorship and other marketing activities/initiatives.
    • Coordinate all marketing/brand related communications (graphic and print materials) originating from the organization and ensure quality and consistency with the preferred brand image and established specifications/standards.
    • Ensure all marketing communications address specific information needs of target markets as well as provide clarity on products and service offerings.
    • Provide input to all marketing communication contracts with vendors/media agencies as required and monitor their activities to ensure adherence with service level agreements.
    • Ensure constant accessibility to accurate product information by relevant users (existing/ prospective customers).
    • Ensure consistency of Etisalat's brand identity with its international operations and ensure that all enhancements/modifications to the brand policy are effected as required.
    • Implement the unit's work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.
    • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimise performance, morale and enhance productivity.
    • Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates' performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
    • Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the unit.
    • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director, Brands and Experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Director, Brands and Experience.

    Educational Requirements

    • First Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or any relevant discipline from a recognized university.
    • A Master's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communication, Advertising or relevant post graduate programme

    Experience,Skills & Competencies

    • 10 to 12 years work experience with at least 5 years in an advertising agency (or agencies), in addition to a minimum of 3 years in the telecoms industry.

    Manager - Information Security Management

    Job Summary   
    Manage the planning and delivery of the Information Security program for Etisalat enterprise IT network environment covering compute, network and storage infrastructure, supported application services and databases and ensure adequate protection is achieved and maintained. Oversee end-to-end information security management for the IT network environment - risk assessments, planning and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and initiatives in line with best practices, continuous compliance monitoring and measurement, anchor security improvement and compliance projects, and interface with internal auditors, and enterprise risk management on all assurance matters
           
    Principal Functions           

    Tactical

    • Develop, manage and implement a comprehensive information security program for Etisalat enterprise IT network environment.
    • Support the development, enhancement and implementation of a comprehensive security architecture, policies, standards and processes and ensure compliance across the IT network environment

    Operational

    • Develop and maintain an up-to-date security posture assessment for Etisalat enterprise IT network environment.  Ensure a satisfactory/acceptable risk rating from independent assessments is achieved and maintained
    • Conduct periodic review of the Etisalat IT network environment security management framework and ensure it is refreshed and enhanced in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
    • Work with business units and other risk management/assurance functions (Internal Audit & Revenue Assurance) to identify gaps and non-conformities using risk assessments, business impact analysis, system vulnerability assessments and penetration tests etc.
    • Develop and implement recommendations, action plans and strategies to address identified risks and non-conformities
    • Raise the security awareness and education level of Etisalat employees (through internal bulletins, regular training and on-boarding for new hires) and  IT vendor personnel
    • Support security and forensic investigations and compliance reviews as requested by internal or external auditors
    • Play an advisory role in application development, acquisition or delivery projects, to assess information security requirements and ensure that security controls are implemented as planned throughout the project life cycle to fulfill these requirements
    • Prepare reports for management attention on residual risks, vulnerabilities and other security exposures, including misuse of information assets and noncompliance.
    • Conduct research, assess new threats and security alerts and recommend and follow through on appropriate actions to mitigate them
    • Support the evaluation, selection and delivery of information security solutions and projects.
    • Interface with others teams within and outside the IT department in the process of delivering security solutions.
    • Liaise with vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure effective optimization, adoption and delivery of solutions.
    • Carry out other activities as instructed by the Head, Information Risk Management.

    Educational Requirements   

    • First degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other numerate science.       

    Experience, Skills & Competencies   

    • Six (6) to Eight (8) years relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years in enterprise information security management or IP networking (planning, support) and three (3) years in a supervisory role.
    • Possession of relevant IT and telecommunication certification including CISA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO27001 etc.
    • Broad experience across the IT/network architecture stack
    • Good understanding of telecommunication business and technology model.
    • Good understanding of business analysis and project management methods.
    • Very good conceptual and analytical thinking skills

    Manager - IP

    Job Summary       

    • Oversee the functions of the IP and Enterprise Operations team, manage all IPBB, MPLS and Enterprise related network activities and liaise with respective internal and external stakeholders to integrate new NE's, solutions and resolve network challenges.

    Principal Functions       

    • Develop and maintain the operational strategy of IP and enterprise networks
    • Manages Etisalat IP/ MPLS Backbone Network, Technologies such as MPLS Core, MP-BGP, VPNs, VPLS, L3VPN, ATOM, Metro, MPLS, Fast Rerouting, VRRP, BFD etc.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders on IP backbone/transmission resources to support Etisalat business objectives.
    • Review all changes to network configurations for technical accuracy and impact and provide Multi-Protocol Network problem resolutions.
    • Responsible for managing IP backbone key performance index and network performance improvement.
    • Responsible for end to end IP integrations for new transmission equipment's, Core network equipment's, VAS nodes, media gateway, and GGSN /SGSN gateways nodes and interconnect nodes into IPBB network
    • Coordinate the integration of enterprise customers and acceptance of new network elements
    • Coordinate corrective IP and enterprise maintenance as required, QOS related and network challenges.
    • Provide efficient, timely and effective remedies to IP network issues and requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to business. Responsible for maintaining low MTTR on IPBB and enterprise networks.
    • Manage the process of investigating and identifying root causes of major incidences and ensure resolution.
    • Responsible for ensuring 3GPP and ITU IP regulations, policies are implemented
    • Manage the unit s interface with Enterprise Segment and Wholesale & Carrier for the provisioning and implementation of internet, L3VPN for clients. Also manage the resolution of faults.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
    • Prepare and analyse agreed periodic activity and performance reports - on IP and Enterprise including faults, downtime and maintenance carried out - for the Head, CIVE Operations.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, CIVE Operations

    Educational Requirements       

    • First degree in Electrical / Electronic or Computer Engineering

    Experience, Skills & Competencies       

    • Six (6) to Eight (8) years work experience with at least three (3) in a supervisory role
    • Certification ; HCNP/HCIE/CCNP/CCIE will be an added advantage

    Senior Engineer - Systems & Solution

    Job Summary       

    • Be part of the team that drive OSS evolution and strategy in Technical by working directly with our network partners.
    • Further develop and support OSSs and solutions in Technical to deliver real-time network insight.

    • Experience in NMS (Operations support, performance, fault/troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization, configuration, protocols)
    • User level experience in at least one BI solution including reporting and analytics

    • User level experience in administering carrier grade servers - Unix an added advantage
