    Sales Executive

    Roles and Responsibilities
    The objectives of the sale department are:

    • Overall Management of Company’s sales portfolio to maximize profit through devising strategies to attract and retain customers to meet and surpass set sales targets
    • Conduct and arrange for periodic market surveys so as to discover new markets and innovative ways to continue to penetrate our core markets.
    • Executing of brand marketing with the sales team, as well as public relations /advert activities for the organization
    • Constructively handling of all customer complaints related to your department.

    The role of this position includes but not limited to the following:

    Sales and Marketing Functions:

    • Plan, organize, direct and control sales staff to meet their job duties and targets.
    • Drive the sales team and help team maximize their potentials.
    • Organize the sales team to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan to achieve the sales target.
    • Responsible for the maintaining Company’s online presence.

    Technical Support:

    • Liaise with the technical department for technical input on impending sales/ proposals
    • Ensure the technical department is accurately informed on the specifics of any particular project
    • Inform technical department of customers’ specific need in case of special request / needs.

    Project Management:

    • Source for projects, where Company comes in as a full power solutions provider. E.g. electrification, generator supply, transformers sales and installation, etc
    • Meet with Management and the technical team to discuss such project specifications and need
    • Coordinate with the technical team on such ongoing projects to ensure the clients' needs are being meet as agreed.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Promote customer satisfaction through the ensuring that the customer returns and give Company new clients through personal contacts
    • Ensure that response time is adhered to in giving feedback to customer on proposals and technical information required
    • Manage the customer in conjunction with technical to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
    • Human Resources Management Support
    • In conjunction with the HR department participates in the recruitment of employees for the department;
    • Assign, direct, and evaluate direct staff work;
    • Oversee the development of staff competence
    • Conduct staff performance appraisals
    • Scheduling staff assignments
    • Providing training and producing support material for team members.

    Requirements

    • A university degree in Marketing or Business studies
    • 5-7 years of experience in sales management.
    • Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations.
    • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
    • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force
    • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
    • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
    • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
    • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • A valid driver’s license.

    Skills/Qualifications
    Education / Experience:

    • First degree from a reputable University with a minimum of four years related experience.

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ideal Candidate should be computer literate
    • Excellent leadership skills.
    • Excellent management skills
    • Should be able to pay attention to detail
    • Proven coaching and conflict resolution skill
    • Strong presentation abilities
    • Must be a good initiator and possess good negotiation skills

    • Excellent Strategy Implementation skills and good use of initiative
    • Good listening skills
    • Report Writing - Write reports to the Managing Director on a Monthly basis

    Technical Manager

    Roles and Responsibilities    

    The objectives of the Technical department are to
    •Ensure proper installation and maintenance of generators sold by Company Ltd
    •Ensure quality service delivery of all maintenance contracts held by the company

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

    Other duties may be assigned.
    Key Tasks:
    Maintenance and Installation
    •Install and maintain all generators sold by Company
    •Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
    •Provides maintenance services that will generate referrals for new maintenance contracts
    Technical Support
    •Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
    •Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
    •Manages technical resources to ensure they are within budget and project schedule
    Project Management
    •Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
    •Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
    •Confer with management and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
    •Tracking projects, Conducting performance reviews
    Customer Relationship Management
    •Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
    •Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
    Marketing and Sales Support
    •Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts
    •Meeting regular After-sales targets
    •Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
    •Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
    Human Resources Management Support
    •Assist HR Manager to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
    •Scheduling staff assignments
    •Providing training and producing support material for team members.
    Report Generation
    •Preparing reports for Management
    •Preparing monthly budget of engineering supply needs and provide a copy to technical support and management.
    •Preparing a daily report on service jobs done and provide in quadruplicates to technical support, finance and admin and sales.
    •Prepare a weekly report on utilization of engineering staff hours.
    •Preparing weekly reports comparing target stated above to actual jobs done.
    MISCELLANEOUS
    •Undertake such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as from time to time may be required, in consultation with Management
    •Work and attend evening and weekend events and meetings as related to the duties of the post as agreed with Management.

    Skill set    
    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education and Experience
    Candidate should have a University degree/HND in Electrical/Electronics/Power Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution. A Masters degree and/or NSE certification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 8 years relevant experience is required, 3 of which must have been in Management level

    Competencies
