    Commercial Contract Managers

     

    Role Summary/Purpose

    • Commercial Contract Manager is responsible for project execution in line with contractual requirements.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • The Commercial Contract Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
    • Represent business interests in customer and internal meetings for project close outs as well as active projects and future contracts.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited University or College
    • At least 5 additional years of experience in project management, financial or commercial contract management.
    • At least 1 year of negotiation and customer facing experience.

    Operations Manager

     

    Job Description
    General Purpose

    • The Operations Manager will be responsible for data entry, accounts payable, payroll, managing PP’s HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the Sales Director and other misc. tasks.
    • Serving as a member of senior management the OM will be expected to plan, direct and coordinate the operations of PP.
    • Working with the Sales Director, the Operations Manager must also continuously develop and implement organizational strategies, policies and practices.

    Systems Interface Engineers

     

    Role Summary/Purpose:    

    The EPC Systems Interface Engineer is responsible for the identification, management and closure of all external and internal interfaces during the Execution Phase of an Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) Subsea Project. Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, the EPC Systems Interface Engineer represents the EPC Systems Engineering team for all Interface related matters.

    Essential Responsibilities:    

    - Develop and communicate the project specific Interface Management Plan
    - Work closely with the project team, product engineers, vendors, 3rd parties and client, to ensure that all project interfaces are identified and classified
    - Ensure all Project Interfaces are established using Interface Records and Interface datasheets
    - Populate the Interface Register and maintain status of all Interfaces through to closure
    - Identify critical interfaces and ensure integration into the Project Master Schedule
    - Produce regular reports showing progress of interface closure against plan, and highlighting critical interface issues
    - Identify Interface issues early and report problems which could have commercial, schedule or contractual impact on the project
    - Organise regular Interface Management Review meetings to maintain focus, identify problem areas and incentivise earliest resolution of interfaces
    - Encourage and facilitate continuous collaboration, and flow of information, between all internal and external parties to ensure all interfaces are understood, addressed and closed as early as possible
    - Identify interface ‘sticking points’ between the various parties and take steps necessary to avoid procrastination or deadlock. Escalate to the PEM and PD all issues which cannot be resolved locally
    - Perform periodic audit of the Interface Management process to confirm correct reporting and archiving of Interface Management data
    - Perform Risk Analysis of the Interface Register and produce mitigation plan
    - Perform regular Change Management reviews of the Interface Register to identify any increase or decrease of contractual scope
    - Analyse and report the cost of poor Interface Management to the project
    - Produce an Interface Management Close-out Report analysing the performance against plan, identifying outstanding actions, and recording all Lessons Learned and Best Practices

    - Proven experience across 3 or more of the following:
    1) Interface Management experience of oil & gas project execution
    2) Technical understanding of at least 2 of the following product lines:

    · Initiate and maintain service billing and tracking including issuance of service dispatch orders
    · Negotiate applicable concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits / satisfaction for the customer with minimal acceptable financial impact to GE
    · Responsible for building strong long-term relationships with specific customers within the region

    Qualifications/Requirements:    

    · Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a field services or customer service role)
    · At least 3 additional years of experience in a customer service role

    HR Business Partner – Power Services and Gas Power Systems

     

    Role Summary/Purpose:    

    The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a leadership partner who develops and executes organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with business goals, while providing individual support and coaching to the leadership team. In this role, HR Business Partner will support the regional General Managers of Power Services and Gas Power Systems businesses in SSA with responsibility for fast growing 300 plus employee client group spread across the region.

    Essential Responsibilities:    

    . In addition, the HRBP will provide indirect leadership to various Employee Resource Managers (ERMs) who provide individual employee support to managers and employees in the client group.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing expertise and guidance in all areas of organization support, including: HR & business strategy alignment, organization design, workforce planning, culture and change management, leadership development and coaching, pipeline development, and succession planning. Focus on localization strategies & action plans.
    - Partner with the business leader to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives.
    - Partner with business leaders to develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change.
    - Act as an organizational & simplification champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance.
    - Strategically partner with business leaders to design and implement the most effective global organizational structures and manage transitions.
    - Provide timely, effective and direct coaching and employee support to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills.
    - Provide strategic coaching to key talent in extended client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.
    - Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent.
    - Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc.
    - Lead the business and HR team through critical HR operating rhythms such as People Review, training nominations, salary planning and performance management.
    - With the support of the Employee Human Resource Manager (EHRM) team, develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent.
    - Collaborate with EHRMs to infuse employee insights into organizational strategies.
    - Provide overall leadership to the HR team, delivering appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities, communicating proactively, and ensuring HR team engagement & retention.
    - Engage as an active member of both the SSA regional HR team as well as the Power & Water HR community, participating in HRBP community events, partnering with ERM managers to coach and develop ERMs, and provide ERMs with developmental opportunities and exposure to HRBP work.

    Qualifications/Requirements:    

    - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
    - Minimum 5 years HR business partnership experience, or equivalent experience interacting with and supporting a senior business management client group

    - GE HRLP graduate or graduate of a similar program

    - Coaching and leadership assessment experience with confidence and care to provide tough coaching in a way that inspires development

    - Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, high performance work environment and team- oriented culture
    - Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills
    - Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience

    - Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others
    - Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce

    - Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
    - Sound knowledge of local labor laws and government requirements
    - PHR/SPHR certification
