    Systems Engineers - Manifolds and Connection System

    Job Description

    The EPC Systems Engineer has technical responsibility for the delivery of a single product line (subsea Manifolds & Connection Systems), during the Execution Phase of an Engineering/ Procurement/ Construction (EPC) Subsea Project. Reporting directly to the Lead Systems Engineer, this is a senior level role working in a high profile function of GE Oil & Gas.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Engineering and Technical responsibility for delivery of subsea Manifolds & Connection Systems an EPC Project as follows:
    • Creation and control of the System Master Equipment List and Master Document Register
    • Delivery of the System Field Layouts and Distribution schematics
    • Delivery of the System Design Basis and Functional Design Specifications
    • Material selection and Corrosion protection Philosophy
    • Internal and External Interfaces
    • Design Verification Program
    • Technical Change control process
    • Technical Assurance program
    • Flow Assurance, Hydrate Management and Thermal Design
    • 3rd party certification and regulatory compliance programs
    • Intervention, Inspection, maintenance and repair strategy
    • System Integrating testing program
    • Technical Risk Management plan including HAZOP &HAZID
    • Reliability Management incl. RAM analysis, FMECA and SIL engineering

    Qualifications/Requirements  
    Proven experience across at least 2 of the following: (Item 2 is compulsory)

    • Project Management/Engineering Management experience of Subsea project execution
    • Technical expertise, at ‘expert’ level, in Manifolds & Connection Systems
    • Practical knowledge of at least 3 aspects of the Subsea Systems Engineering Lifecycle:
    • NPI, Tender development, Project Engineering, SIT, commissioning, and operations

    Domain expertise across at least 2 of the following: (one at ‘expert’ level)

    • Hydro-mechanical, Electrical & power, Software/Electronic, Marine/Structural
    • Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering or science based discipline
    • Chartered Engineer or PE certification is preferred

    Services Manager 1 - Customer Contract Management

    Security Operations Director - Sub Saharan Africa

    Role Summary/Purpose

    The Director will act as the daily functional manager of GE’s Security & Crisis Management (SCM) team across sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).GE’s SCM strategy is risk-based and relies on the proactive mitigation of security threats with particular emphasis on the use of security intelligence and trend analysis. The function’s primary goal is to serve as a business enabler, even in high-risk areas.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Oversight of journey management and executive protection programs;
    • Design and implementation of security awareness programs for all GE employees in SSA;
    • Drive operational excellence with the SCM team and site security leaders in the implementation of facilities security plans;
    • Ensure SSA-wide crisis management and business continuity programs are regularly updated, drilled, and aligned to global GE standards;

    • Continuously build the expertise and operational standards of the Regional Operations Center;

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Oral and written fluency in English is required; conversational fluency in a 2nd language - particularly French or Portuguese - is also required;
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; master's degree preferred. While traditional security-related academic qualifications are valued, consideration will also be given to those with backgrounds in law, compliance, risk management and other related fields;
    • Minimum of 15 years' experience in law enforcement, intelligence, security operations, or related fields on behalf of government agencies or large multinational corporations;
    • Extensive experience in managing and conducting international security operations including physical security, facilities security, investigations, personal protection and crisis management;
    • Significant operational experience in sub-Saharan Africa and an understanding and appreciation of regional politics, cultures, government structures, and development challenges;
    • Significant training and real world experience in the management of kidnap and recovery (K&R) operations;

    Global Affordable Care Portfolio Manager

Define and lead appropriate market segmentation and positioning strategies for the assigned portfolio.
    • Work closely with GM to define the product portfolio to meet the needs of the market. Responsible for execution of the product roadmaps and New Product Introductions (NPI).
    • Own the investment strategy - organic and inorganic ventures. Own the prioritization of the portfolio. Own the financial outcomes of investments made in the portfolio.
    • Work with global product managers to determine product profitability, growth rates, gaps to target, pipeline health & sales forecasts.
    • Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements and commercial change process.
    • Own and manage KOL relationships and drive CABs
    • Own the market requirements document (MRD) for the portfolio, support product managers in product requirements analysis
    • Own commercialization of the portfolio by working closely with the product managers, commercial teams and product marketers
    • Own and drive global commercialization analytics for the affordable care portfolio. Partner with region teams to help define commercialization structures, GTM strategies and funnel appropriate investments for this purpose. Measure success through growth metrics and drive accountability across the system
    • Co-ordinate marketing rhythms and operating mechanisms with the Product CMO, Region CMO, Product teams in the regions.
    • Advocate for the prioritization of programs and strategic projects and ensure alignment to business strategy (i.e. drive strategic planning process for Business).
    • Provide oversight and guidance to product managers and product marketers across the portfolio.
    • Responsible to drive operational execution of all portfolio management activities in SHS. Support product manager(s) with business case creation, financial model creation, setting of ICV and CM targets, value proposition and positioning content , Product Models and Structures definition etc
