    Sales Executive (Banking Sector Gifting & Promotions)

    Report to: The Head - Corporate Gifting and Promotions.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for Lead Generation & Opening New Accounts in the banking sector
    • Ability of prospecting for new promotional gifting business from Banks
    • Convert Above Leads to Active & Regular Business

    With Each Account:

    1. Understand their Monthly Requirement. 
    2. Understand Our Competition : Difference in Product, Price & Other Service Offerings
    3. Maximize Business w each Customer
    • Expected to build a strong healthy pipeline of prospective opportunities for regular business.
    • Expected to build and manage strong commercial relationships at all levels in addition to developing sales.
    • Key Account Manager for the banks in relation to promotions and gifting only.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration or any Social Science related field.
    • Total experience of 8-10 years with 2-3 years in selling to banks, with good market knowledge preferably in Promotions & Gifting business.
    • Strong networking capabilities
    • Strategic /persuasive approach to sales
    • Energetic, innovative and willing to learn and adapt to new challenges in generating business. Hard working.
    • Presentable and with good communication skills

    • Identify potential customer list (Pharmaceutical Companies/ Liquid Soap manufacturers), meet decision makers & push them to make buying decision.
    • Convert Above Leads to Active & Regular Business.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Degree B.Sc in Business administration, Marketing or any other social science related field.
    • 6-7 Years of proven track record of selling packaging products to B2B (e.g.: selling bottles & caps to pharmaceutical companies or plastic components to liquid soap manufacturers)
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Self - confidence and an ability to speak confidently about the industry as well as a company's product/services.
    • Determination to get things done. Make things happen & constantly looking for better ways of doing things.
    • Able to plan activities & carry them through effectively.
    • Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and able to work to deadlines.
    • Gather information systematically to establish facts & principles. Problem solving.

    Divisional Head - Racking & Shelving

    Report to: The Managing Director.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for managing the Racking & Shelving division of the company and take complete ownership of P&L.
    • Technically pitching warehouse racking solutions to corporate houses.
    • Developing sales of supermarket gondolas and bolted shelving from new and existing supermarkets/garment shops/pharmacies/offices/libraries etc.
    • Meet Architects, designers & contractors, convince them to promote our products in most projects.
    • Identifying and appointing distributors/ sales agents pan Nigeria
    • Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organisation’s presence in West Africa
    • New product development within the same segment.
    • Take lead in strategizing the racking and shelving business with future growth potential.
    • Continuous monitoring of the sales team performance by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, Salesforce CRM & cyclical sales meetings.
    • Effectively coaching the sales team for obtaining profitable results through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
    • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a qualified Mechanical Engineer, preferably with a Degree in Management
    • Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field is an advantage
    • Total work experience of 10 - 15 years; with knowledge of 2-5 years experience in warehouse or store management
    • Experience in material handling equipment (shelving/ racking)
    • Experience in launching a product portfolio and proving it
    • Should possess work experience in Nigeria
    • Strategic/ persuasive approach to business development
    • Ability to work equally on own initiative
    • Good team leader
    • Presentable & motivated in building a long term career with the company
