    Project Assistant

     

    Job Description

    • Communicate instructions to contractors on site
    • Picking up and delivering supplies and materials to site
    • Take pictures and? check progress of job sites
    • Maintain warehouse and inventory in an organized manner.
    • All other duties or projects as assigned
    • May involve Out of State travel.
    • Monitor, track and alert Operations and Projects departments of project issues and outstanding work
    • Maintain project schedules;
    • Collaborate with Operations/Projects department closely on project changes and needs:
    • Take Meeting minutes throughout projects
    • Address issues as they arise with minimal delay

    Requirements

    • Applicants must have at least a Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution.
    • Applicants must also possess at least 2 years experience from a reputable organization related field.
    • Applicant must not be more than 36 years.

    Skills:

    • Exhibits excellent ability to interpret plans and specifications
    • Detail oriented and thorough with good organization skills:
    • Exhibits good problem solving skills and shows logical process to decision making:
    • Willing and able to travel according to project site needs:
    • Multi-task oriented (capable of running multiple tasks concurrently)

    Senior Accountant

     

    Job Description

    • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies. Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
    • Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
    • Produce payroll by initiating computer processing: printing checks, verifying finished product.
    • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
    • Complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts: providing information for auditors.
    • Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. Secure financial information by following internal controls Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities:
    • reading professional publications: maintaining personal networks; participating in professional seminars/workshops.
    • Possess an informed knowledge about the Mortgage system and answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
    • Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use if current computer technology. Report organization’s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
    • Performing all foreign currency transactions. (Transfers, exchanges, deposits, payments. etc.)
    • Use customised accounting software to interpret accounting systems

    Requirements

    • Applicants must have a first Degree from a reputable University.
    • A certification in ACCA or CAN will be an advantage but not mandatory.
    • Applicants must also possess between 6 years post NYSC experience from a reputable organization in related field.
    • Applicant must not be more than 40 years.

    Skills:

    • Excellent Interpersonal skills with strong written and oral communication skills
    • Good analytical and numerical skills
    • Computer literate with Intermediate to advanced experience in MS programs particularly MS Excel
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
    • The individual will be expected to Work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product.

    The Role
    Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager you will be involved in the marketing of the company’s products and achievement of department and overall accomplishment of business development activities of the company; by achieving sales targets through the direct sell of land to off takers from the onset and structured buildings at a later stage, researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing sales strategies and managing your clientele.

    Other Responsibilities include:

    • Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in planning and supervising marketing operations to achieve revenue target.
    • Assist in Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
    • Recommend creative and cost effective promotional activities.
    • Conduct marketing campaigns and trade shows to promote brand awareness among consumers.
    • Maintains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
    • Collates and provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends for the Sales and Marketing Manager.
    • Ensures and maintains confidentiality of organization’s information.
    • Maintain customer relationship programs and track customer satisfaction.
    • Generate sales and marketing reports for own area of operation to management when needed.
    • Cooperate with the management in the development of marketing programs and criteria to achieve sales goals.
    • Evaluates current marketing program and recommend improvements. Stays updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates must have a minimum of HND/ B.Sc in Marketing; Business studies/Management.
    • Professional membership of the Institute of Marketing will be a definite advantage. Should have at least five (5) years of experience in the field and demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Other required attributes include but are not limited to, Sound expertise in sales, Good communicator, Persuasiveness Know-how to demonstrate, promote and sell, Strong networking skills, Resilience under pressure and leadership abilities

    Job Description

    • Maintaining office operations by receiving and distributing communication, collecting and mailing correspondence etc
    • Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating requirements, placing and expediting orders, stocking items and delivering supplies to work stations
    • Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs and monitoring equipment operations.
