    Field Engineer

     

    Job description

    MISSION:

    Primary interface for the execution of the all field related obligations of KAP to her customers. In an optimal and most cost effective manner.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. BTS Site Passive Maintenance compliance audit.
    2. Supervision of contractors carrying out O&M work on sites; ensuring SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, due dates and specifications are strictly adhered to set objectives.
    3. Conduct readiness check and acceptance of new BTS site passive infrastructure.
    4. Liaising with all necessary parties (client staff or contractors, independent service providers) involved in the mandate execution value chain.
    5. Asset inspection, database tracking and validation.
    6. Completion of physical site activities of ALL sites assigned within the given timelines.
    7. Reporting/Documentation.

    KEY DELIVERABLES

    1. Quality Execution of Responsibilities with 99.9% Accuracy.
    2. Reporting Quality
    3. Improving Maintenance standards as seen on state of infrastructure under assigned coverage area.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    1. Education
      1. B.Sc. (or HND) Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication
    2. Experience
      1. Minimum of 2 year experience in operations or implementation areas within the telecom environment
    3. Training
      1. Power Systems
      2. Quality Management
      3. Project Management 

    FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCES

    1. Computer and Information Management Appreciation.
    2. Data Management.

    GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS.

    1. Normal KAP working hours
    2. May be required to work extended hours
    3. National Travel.

    Head of Engineering Unit

     

    Job description

    MISSION: 

    To leads a team of engineers/contractors in the execution of their day-to-day activities in order to meet the goals and objectives of KAP, and ensuring KAP’s service commitment to customers are met.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Ensuring field engineers work output is at par with the KAP’s pre-defined standards.
    2. Coordinate 24 hour 7 days a week, technical activities of field Engineers.
    3. Maintaining a database of ALL Infrastructure and Maintenance dependencies with escalation trigger points to clients where necessary.
    4. Liaise with client staff, contractors or independent service providers as the need arises,
    5. Ensures report and presentations are developed accurately and rendered as at when due.
    6. Analysis of Reports on Team/Contractor performance in the light of Service Level Agreements as well as in line with IHS Nigeria Standards.
    7. Timely Analysis of requests from internal and external stakeholders under assigned business area.
    8. Ensuring and maintaining a first-class Quality of Service by ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures as well as recommending areas of improvement.
    9. Takes responsibility for the use and upkeep of all company resources issued to field engineers

    Administration Officer

     

    Job description

    MISSION:

    The Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining day to day financial, accounting, administrative and personnel services of KAP.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Maintain financial files and records
    2. Establish and maintain supplier accounts
    3. Ensure data is entered into the system
    4. Administer employment agreements
    5. Verify and report on benefits payments 
    6. Maintain the leave management system
    7. Review remittances
    8. Supervise completion of the payroll
    9. Review payroll reports
    10. Manage the filing, storage and security of documents
    11. Respond to inquiries
    12. Assist with preparation of contract documents
    13. Perform other related duties as required. 

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    1. Education
      1. B.Sc. (or HND) Degree.
    1. Experience
      1. Minimum of 2 years experience in similar Job role
