    Senior Web and Mobile Application Developer

     

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience building mobile apps on either ioS or Android
    • At least 3 years of hands-on native Android development experience (Java, Android SDK)
    • 5+ years of IT/Technology professional development experience using object-oriented software development languages such as C++/Java/Objective-C/Cocoa/PHP
    • Solid understanding  and experience  of mobile location services and Google map API
    • Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C and Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
    • Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
    • Familiar with xcode.
    • Familiar with the Android SDK and Phone Gap
    • Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
    • Familiar with Eclipse 

    OBJECTIVE:

    The experienced Mobile Applications Developer must be able to design and develop maps and mobility driven mobile applications with the ability to code/develop alone and/or in conjunction with other developers. Must be able to develop new mobile applications, and design and develop enhancements to existing apps quickly. 

    DUTIES

    • Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualise, build, test and realise products
    • Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
    • Create Mobile App that is platform independent with appealing interfaces and experiences
    • Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
    • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
    • Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
    • Acting as lead Mobile App developer. Depending on the skills set can be lead on one platform and play a supporting role across the other
    • Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
    • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
    • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

    Contracts and Proposal/Procurement Engineer

     

    The Contracts and Proposal/Procurement Engineer is responsible for the following:

    Business Development/Sales

    • Respond to RFQ’s related to MROs in a timely manner 
    • Manage the commercial aspects of contract start and exit during the transition phases
    • Collation, preparation and submission of Tender/Bids/Contract/DPR documents and follow up
    • RFQ preparation and submission to end-users
    • Responding to customer enquiries regarding replacement parts and other technical matters 

    Product sourcing

    • Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers and distributors
    • Sourcing the right product items at the right price and quality
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices and quantities ordered
    • Analyze and review product options ensuring all products and services purchased are of the highest quality regardless of highly competitive price
    • Maintain suppliers database including suppliers’ qualifications, delivery times, potential development and products
    • Placing orders with OEMs and negotiating prices
    • Monitoring logistics, specifications and quality to ensure on-time delivery
    • Packaging and labeling of items for onward delivery to end-users warehouse.
    • Providing Technical Query (TQ) support services that will improve procurement and general services performance to the customers
    • Ensure that the performance of suppliers is monitored and managed in accordance with supplier management and segmentation policies and supplier strategies whilst ensuring that operational and contractual risk is mitigated
    • Ensure the collation and distribution of supplier performance data, management information and supplier-related business intelligence through the creation and invigoration of information networks

    Structure:                                                                                                         
    Full-time role reporting directly to the head of the Oil/Gas division of NoemDek Ltd. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria 

    Qualifications

    • College degree from leading 4 year institution
    • Experience responding to RFQs for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) for an international Oil and Gas company in Nigeria
    • Leadership, process management, relationship development, negotiations, communication, customer service and analysis
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word required
    • Experience in negotiation that achieved cost savings results and a minimum of 3 years in a related procurement role.
    • Proven success managing complex projects on-time and working in cross functional teams
    • Strong organizational skills required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines with available resources
    • Outstanding communication, leadership and analytic skills

    Senior Activation Manager

     

    This role is with our marketing agency affiliate and involves the overall accountability, co-ordination and management of multi-touch, complex events.

    PRIMARY DUTIES 

    Responding to proposals

    • Provides event level strategic guidance, research and idea generation.
    • Respond to all RFPs on behalf of the marketing agency
    • Deliver presentations for any activation brief received
    • Guide in house creative team to deliver events with impact and a unique flair.
    • Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary.
    • Infuse customized, out-of-the-box ideas and solutions for events 

    Managing Events and Activations

    • Manage a large range of event types (activations, corporate events, trainings etc.)
    • Collaborate with marketing, business development managers and business unit liaisons to ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines, drive event attendance, and create experiences conducive to achieving the designated metrics.
      • Keep management advised of event progress, budget and activities
      • Prepare and comply with event budgets, negotiation with vendors, and ensuring payments & reconciliations take place in a timely manner
      • Manage the creative process, including invites, event signage, architecture layout, etc.
      • Co-ordinate and support PR activities around events as appropriate.
      • Hire, train, and educate staff (bartenders, waiters, ushers) on proper event procedures
      • Ensure day of event goes smoothly. 

    Business Growth

    • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external clients
    • Deliver annual profit targets from activation jobs by sourcing new clients, growing existing accounts and actively minimizing project expenditure 

    STRUCTURE
                                                                                                       

    Full-time role reporting directly to the Managing Director. The Senior Activations Manager will primarily be required to operate independently. The role is based in Lagos, Nigeria 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • College degree from leading 4 year institution
    • Graduate degree from leading institution with  3-5 years of experience with an activations or marketing agency
    • Previous work experience with consumer goods, telecom and financial services clients. 
    • Leadership, process management, relationship development, negotiations, communication, customer service, analysis and Excel. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
    • Proven success managing complex projects on-time and working in cross functional teams
    • Strong organizational skills required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines with available resources
    • Outstanding communication, leadership and analytic skills
