    ASSISTANT LOGISTICIAN-PROCUREMENT

    Following the direction of the Capital Logistician, the Assistant Logistician will be responsible for obtaining quotations on behalf of the procurement officer, Conducting small purchases; ensuring correct filing and archiving of procurement Dossiers; Updating the monthly inventory, writing reports if the need arises and notify the Capital Logistician if supplies have reached the minimum stock that has been determined.

    Summary of Key Objectives:
    •Provide Administrative Support to Procurement Officer.
    •Stock management.
    •Supervise deliveries and dispatches to and from Abuja.
    •Reporting 

    Qualifications;
    High school leaving certificate or equivalent

    Essential Skills & Experience:  
    •Min 2 years’ experience in office administrative work
    •Some experience in Logistics and stock control
    •Good capacity to work in a team
    •Knowledge of English 
    •Good Computer Skill, MS Word, MS Excel 
    Preferred
    •Experience in working for NGO

    ASSISTANT BASE LOGISTICIAN

    Following the direction of the Base Logistician, the Assistant Base Logistician will assist in follow-up and support of the receipt, storage, accounting and reporting of all items received, dispatched and stored in the warehouse(s) in collaboration with the store keeper.     Storekeeper

    Following the direction of the Base Logistician, the Storekeeper will be responsible for close follow-up of stocks while ensuring that all deliveries physically conform with DN’s; update the monthly inventory and write any report if useful; keep the stock forms up to date; advise Log Base to place or notice to orders for when the state of supplies reached the minimum stock that has been determined

    Summary of Key Objectives:
    •    Ensure management of the base’s stocks 
    •    Manage fuel stock 
    •    Supervise cargos and shipments 
    •    Check the quality of the RUTF and drugs to be stocked 
    •    Reporting 

    Qualifications;
    Lower high school leaving certificate or equivalent, training in stock management and experience as a storekeeper

    •    Knowledge of Arithmetic

    WASH Program Manager

    The WASH Program Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of WASH project activities, ensuring that services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with donor regulations. He/She will provide technical guidance, in all areas of WASH programming, ensuring that implementation methods are consistent with acknowledged good practice and achieve sustainable results. The WASH project designs are implemented in ways responsive to communities, partners and in line with Donors principles, values and strategic plan and compliant with ACF procedures and quality standards. He/She will also develop Project implementation plan including procurement and distribution schedules of project inputs in line with project logistics/supply chain capacity. In coordination with the Rapid Response Mechanism expert, the WASH PM will ensure that WASH staff have work-plans in place and follow up with team members regularly to ensure that activities are on track.

    Summary of Key Objectives:

    •    Ensure projects implementation of integrated ACF-USA WASH projects
    •    Contribute to the identification & formulation of WASH projects, and ACF Nigeria mission strategy 
    •    To ensure proper Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting of projects
    •    Staffs management and capacity building 
    •    To actively participate in external coordination within the WASH sector at the LGA and state level, as well as national level as required 
    •    Contribute to the mission’s capitalization and to ACF communication

    Qualifications;
    Engineering or Public Health Degree (Bachelor level or equivalent/higher) in a field related to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. Additional training courses specific to WASH in development contexts (such as Bio-force Institute graduates), and/or Program Management professional certifications, strongly preferred.
    Essential Skills & Experience:  
    •    Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, in a WaSH management/supervisory capacity.
    •    Strong computer literacy, organizational and planning skills, report writing, budget oversight
    •    Commitment to upholding ACF’s values, excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    Preferred
    •    Experience in the INGO/NGO and humanitarian context
    •    Experience managing a team of staff
