Job description    

• Build, configure and maintain MTNN servers and server environment
• Design, implementation, support, documentation and day-to-day administration for:
   a. Microsoft Technologies (Messaging, Communication, Server, Desktop, Private Cloud, SharePoint)
   b. Microsoft SCCM/SCOM
   c. File and e-mail Archiving
   d. Server/Desktop/Application Virtualization Technologies (Citrix, VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis and analysis
• Operate within, contribute to, and maintain a thorough knowledge of relevant standards, policies, processes and procedures
• Utilize appropriate management tools to monitor operational service status against SLAs, making recommendations where necessary to ensure optimal performance
• Provide a timely response to incidents and requests by keeping all parties informed of progress, ensuring that requests are answered/fulfilled to the customer’s satisfaction
• Implement and monitor server security initiatives
• Deploy new server-based applications to desktops as required
• Maintain a high level of customer centric service delivery
• Prepare reliable trend analyses to help determine focus area and develop proactive approaches to incidents management
• Prepare periodic management reports on Windows infrastructure performance
• Perform escalation process in line with agreed policies and procedures.

Experience:
At leat 4 years’ experience which includes:
At least 3 years hands-on Microsoft server products support experience which includes:
• Microsoft server products administration, design, implementation, and support.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of server hardware and associated data center infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge (including implementation, administration, performance monitoring and troubleshooting) of:
o MS Windows 2008/2012 Server
o MS Exchange 2010/2013
o MS Skype for Business (Lync)
o MS o365
o SCCM 2012
o Server/Desktop Virtualization and Cloud Computing

Training:

• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
• Ensure full compliance with telecommunications license provisions, sector regulations and competition laws
• Provide professional inputs and advice to the ES pricing Specialist in developing an ES pricing strategy and plan.
• Monitor market events and capture, store and track product /service pricing information and provide insight and data to support management decision-making.
• Use market analysis data, customer satisfaction data and internal service costing data to develop and manage value based pricing and pricing strategies across the full range of Enterprise Solutions products, working with product managers, product development managers and finance managers.
• Develop all non-standard pricing elements of customer proposals, particularly those associated with solution based proposals.
• Work with ES Marketing and MTN Finance groups to develop a competitive price which generates agreed margins for all in-life products and services.
• Support the ES Pricing Specialist team to meet targets for profitability and revenues, as agreed with the General Manager ES Propositions and Marketing Relations.

Job description    

• Work closely with all Account Managers to ensure that credit facilities are performing in line with contract terms and conditions and agreed operational levels
• Assist management in performing administrative, control and monitoring functions

Reporting

• Prepare reports periodically according to reporting deadlines.
• Review systems to ensure prompt suspension of defaulting customers and blocking of individual consumers as and when due
• Generate credit performance report indicating the ageing of debts and collections.

Compliance and Credit Performance reviews

• Develop initiatives to drive revenue growth through the use of credit.
• Generate and evaluate Trade Partner and customer credit status, credit utilization and credit sales reports.
• Regular follow up on postpaid ’s transactions to ensure compliance with credit terms
• Conduct credit utilization efficiency on credit customers and trade partners for necessary limit reviews.

Stakeholder management

• Establish and maintain good relationship with the SBU to facilitate smooth operations
• Collaborate with SBU in validating data for upload on the credit bureau platform.
• Engage SBUs on credit portfolio performance
• Receive, prepare and manage correspondence related to assigned credit activities.

• Liaise with several Law Enforcement Agencies on investigations of frauds
• Log all reported and discovered breach incidences in forensic audit case register
• Receive incident prompts from a wide variety of sources
• Data mining/ Information gathering
• Advise internal stakeholders on Government regulations and anti-frauds standards
• Promote fraud awareness across MTNN
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of fraud incidents and allegations of corruption and breaches in conformance with documented policies and procedures.
• Develop periodic reports on forensic audit incidents, investigations and outcomes as may be required by the Senior Forensic Auditor.
• Plan, perform, analyze and report on outcomes of investigations in line with company procedures and guidelines.
• Assist in recommending system and process improvements based on the outcome of various investigations conducted.
• Provide constant feedback to internal stakeholders through the Senior Forensic Auditor on reported incidences which require investigation.
• Liaise with internal (Human Resources, Legal, Security, Subscriber Fraud Unit, etc) and external (Law enforcement agencies) stakeholders as required.
• Carry out research on fraud detection and prevention as necessary and as requested in forensic audit discipline.

Job description    

• Liaise with Network Operations, Information Systems, Enterprise Solution and other internal company departments or team members to provide assistance to stakeholders on IP planning projects and ensure design and implementation are carried out to specification
• Assist Network Operations and Enterprise Network Solution with second level problem analyses and troubleshooting
• Plan and design data access nodes, sites and links within the national and metropolitan access networks to cater for new developments in the organization’s business plan.
• Produce and develop solutions for convergence of diverse Customer Edge communications services onto consolidated backhaul (last mile) links for connectivity between the Customer Edge (CE) and the MPLS Provider Edge (PE).
• Interface with metro transmission personnel, key user groups and other necessary stakeholders to define and implement best fit access methodologies for transport and delivery of customer data access services.
• Develop IP addressing, naming and numbering formats as well as quality of service parameters for the Customer Edge LANs and all other data access networks, nodes and elements.
• Produce and integrate IP routing solutions for the extension of network management capability to Microwave Transmission sites in the metro and national TX backbone networks.
• Plan and implement WAN Access SLAs, quality and class of service requirements in alignment with the capabilities of the network and ensure achievement of customer satisfaction on the total connectivity/transport solution.
• Conduct weekly and monthly network performance monitoring, trend analyses, capacity planning and expansion/optimization in line with traffic growth and customer demands
• Compile trend reports on capacity demand, utilization and availability for forecasting and proactive planning.
• Plan and conduct site visits and surveys for accurate and effective design, dimensioning and integration of new CEs, data access links and metropolitan access triangulation.

Experience:

• At least 4 years extensive experience in ICT & Telecoms systems integration, preferably in a large Service Provider network.
• Cisco qualification - CCNP/DP level or CCNA with extensive systems integration and network design experience.
• Understanding of metro-transmission technologies, e.g. LRE, xDSL, PDH/SDH.
• Working knowledge of IP/MPLS, QOS & networking protocols such as ISDN, H.232, SIP, VOIP & C7 (SS7).
• Good working knowledge of advanced routing mechanisms & protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS etc).
 Understanding of high capacity Packet & circuit transmission technologies & products, e.g. SDH, DWDM, ATM, Frame Relay
 Experience with network performance monitoring and reporting.
 Experience with 3G, HSDPA, GSM, TDMA, CDMA networks will be an added advantage
