    Team Lead, Sales

     

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive sales for all products and services offered by the organisation
    • Identify new and strategic business opportunities in alignment with the vision of the organization
    • Develop innovative proposals and presentations that clearly demonstrate the unique value of organisation’s solutions
    • Develop annual sales plans which focus on meeting organizational objectives
    • Participate in the management of product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities 
    • Responsible for end to end sales process; from initial contact and understanding of client needs to delivery and closure (handover from the sales team to relationship management team – Key Accounts Manager, etc.

    Personal Characteristics

    • Natural aptitude for sales with strong personal sales skills
    • Inspires confidence, able to form and develop professional relationships
    • Enthusiastic and highly motivated, creative and energetic; brings new ideas to the team
    • Team player, works with colleagues
    • Focused on objectives, but flexible to overcome setbacks and cope with conflicting priorities
    • Good communicator

    Qualifications

    • Ethical and honest 
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
    • MBA  is an added advantage
    • Professional membership and certification in relevant and recognised institutions
    • 5 years relevant or cognate experience
    • Experience selling IT is required with specific focus on software sales
