Job Profile
The global goals of the Business Development Manager will be to maximize opportunities in the African region and within targeted markets of the company’s linear channels
Key Responsibilities
Actively prospect clients, propose and implement strategic plans to increase Linear TV revenue;
Develops, oversees and leads all the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals;
Establishes performance targets for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis;
Follow up all negotiations and contract drafting process and anticipate renewal of expiring contracts;
Provide monthly reporting according to internal procedures detailing :
Last month activities
Main highlights and issues
Key accounts and partners status
Next month key actions, income projections and targets
Advices Human resources on all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Business development as well as their job descriptions;
Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for Linear TV B.U
Cooperate actively with corporate partners and other platforms Sales & marketing teams for developing joint selling & marketing activities;
Advice on costing of packages and offer guidance and update on any rate changes to freelance marketers and advertisement agencies;
Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company;
Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all clients of the Company;
Supervise the conception of promotional documents presenting the advertisement packages and rate-cards of Linear TV channels;
Prepare promotional plans and contribute to the conception of marketing literature, and sales contracts;
Communicate new packages and services developments to prospective clients;
Deal with freelance sales representatives and advertisement agencies;
Produce audience and impact report to clients and top management;

Key Requirement
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management capacity within broadcasting / media
/advertisement industry;
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, a Masters is highly desirable;
Skilled in the art of networking;
Ability to display creativity and innovation;
Conflict management and negotiation skills;
Understanding of the Nigerian mass media market (competition, trends, major advertisers,
regulatory aspects, etc.) is highly desirable;
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives
with a team approach;
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Pro-active and able to solve problem;
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel or Google Apps;
Experience in establishing and managing customer relationships;
Must be effective at making verbal and written proposals;
Right attitude to work in a challenging and dynamic environment;
Account Management skills (getting and analyzing customer's requirements for offer preparation
and contract negotiations);
Proven business development manager who is used to working to targets;
Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge
of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry;
Client oriented approach, drive for Results;
Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Job Profile
The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for driving new subscriber acquisition for the company and will also be in charge of winning over new long-term customers through strategic, highly effective online marketing campaigns with a focus on email and communication, including blogs and communities.
Key Responsibilities
Help develop strategy for online marketing and activations, including the selection of channels, type of campaigns, promotions, creative and style choices
Design, set-up and implement email marketing campaigns that will attract new users, keep current subscribers engaged and entice former subscribers to return
Measure, report on and optimize campaign effectiveness, return on marketing spend and campaign ROI ensuring overall Cost Per Acquisition is profitable
Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant partners across relevant complimentary products /services
Communicate strategies and results to senior management consistently and regularly
You are willing to go the extra mile to ensure we deliver the best user experience and monetization
Key Requirements
3-5 years of experience in data-driven marketing & customer acquisition for an online-related service or product
A/B testing, optimization and reporting
Experience in e-commerce or similar conversion driven customer acquisition via email
Experience with creating communities online
Highly analytical, data-driven, and work in an ROI-focused manner
A strong team player who has demonstrated leadership qualities in the past
A good University degree
Impeccable written communication skills
Degree in Marketing, MBA
