Key roles
- Management of day to day finance and accounts functions, including banks where necessary
- To ensure every store's daily collections are appropriately accounted for and deposited in bank
- To ensure appropriate systems and processes to eliminate shrinkage at stores and warehouse
- To work on cost reduction on a continual basis and advise business head on effective strategies on cost reduciotn
- To participate in all commercial activities including purchase decisions with a view to protect intake margins / reduce costs on a sustained basis
- Analyze SKU wise / product wise margins and advice on price modificaitons / scheme implementation to the Business head
- Prepare appropriate reports / analysis periodically and submit to Management for reviews from time to time as required
- To advice on effective inventory management for reducing / eliminating slow moving and non moving inventories
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong Accounting skills
- Good Commercial understanding in a retail business
- Experience in working on intake margins
- Understanding costs and reducing costs without affecting business
- Strategic to ensure every store operates profitably
- Ability to guide Business Heads to take suitable decisions consideirng the economic environment
