    Nutrition Program Manager

    The Nutrition Program Manager will be responsible for general management of the nutrition activities in Yobe State, Overall management of Nutrition programs (CMAM, IYCF, MNCHW...) including support (capacity building) to WINNN, Overall planning and assessment for startup of the additional nutrition activities in Yobe State as needed ;Management of Human resources (HR), Supply Pipeline in collaboration with Nutrition team, Reporting as well as Representing ACF programs in nutrition/health coordination meetings in Yobe State.

    Summary of Key Objectives:
    •    Joint management of nutritional activities.
    •    Capacity Building (in collaboration with the Nut Co).
    •    Monitoring 

    Qualifications; Essential Skills & Experience:  
    •    Minimum Bachelor in medical sciences, preferably in nutrition or public health
    •    Master’s degree preferred
    •    Two years relevant work experience managing CMAM nutrition programs
    •    Fluent English
    •    Ability to analyze and synthesize information
    •    Professional, motivated, open, creative, mature, responsible, flexible, culturally sensitive
    •    Excellent human resource management, leadership and motivation/training skills
    •    Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management
    •    Must be disciplined and able to work autonomously and arrive at decisions and conclusions with minimal guidance.
    •    Strong capacity to represent ACF and sustain relations with state and local stakeholders.  

    Preferred
    •    Previous experience with ACF
    •    Knowledge of Hausa
    •    Advanced knowledge of donors’ guidelines/procedures in humanitarian and recovery settings.
    •    Significant experience in recovery and development project management.

    Base HR Administrator

    Reporting to the Head of Base, the Base HR Administrator will support the HR Department in achieving its core objectives by overseeing the recruitment process at base level , ensuring employee information is accurately and completely managed in a timely manner , Support in various aspects of the training and development of staff, Set objectives with staff under his/her direct management, appraise their performance in accordance with ACF performance management policies and identifying areas where they require support and capacity building.

    Summary of Key Objectives:
    •    National staff are recruited, developed and managed in a strategic, proactive manner to ensure the mission’s human resource requirements for programs and support positions
    •    National staff benefits, data and information administration are carried out effectively, in close coordination with supervisors/managers and administrators, to ensure smooth delivery of internal services to employees
    •    The management team is supported with all administrative tasks related to both national and international staff

    Qualifications; Essential Skills & Experience:  
    •    Bachelor’s degree in fields related to HR, Administration and Management preferred; post-secondary diploma plus relevant experience also acceptable;
    •    Experience working in HR and/or administrative support positions, 1+ years
    •    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •    Approachable, diplomatic, able to work effectively in diverse, cross-cultural teams in a complex, multi-site work environment
    •    Computer literacy including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
    •    Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, rigorous, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently
    •    Able to maintain confidentiality 
    •    Capacity for analysis, synthesis and reporting of large amounts of information

    Preferred
    •    Previous experience working for INGOs an asset, particularly health related INGOs
    •    Fluency in one or more National/regional languages an asset
    •    Understanding of national labor law and employment norms/practices
