    HSE Advisor

    Overview:

    We are currently working with an operator in the oil and gas industry for an urgent search of the following below listed roles in Nigeria.

    Our client is a progressive and prestigious independent oil producing company with a global strategy focus.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Execution of health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
    • Work in conjunction with the safety committee and management to further employee HSE initiatives.
    • Data management system documentation and reports as required on significant trends.
    • Sustain employee data on safety, train and coordinate new employee safety training.
    • Manage & execute facility safety meetings and material.
    • Act as liaison with insurance carrier and maintain, in addition review regulatory documentation to maintain facility compliance with regulatory agencies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors from a recognize institution in Humanities/ Business/ Social Science field.
    • At least 8-15 years’ experience working in an Oil producing assest.
    • Previous experience in the Exploration and Production industry is compulsory.
    • Good understanding of the business risks.
    • Ability to develop and implement E & P and International Industry.

    Procurement Manager

    Overview:

    We are currently working with an operator in the oil and gas industry for an urgent search of the following below listed roles in Nigeria

    Role Responsibilities

    • To manage and develop procurement staff
    • To develop and implement  procurement strategies and policies
    • To build and develop relationships with key suppliers
    • To prepare, approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy
    • To forecast procurement needs.
    • To examine macro trends in supplier and contract base.
    • To create cost analysis, discounted cash flow analysis.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in business, supply chain, economics or engineering/science.
    • An experienced professional in all aspects of procurement of goods and services in an oil producing company.
    • 10-15 years’ relevant experience in a progressive supply chain role.
    • E&P operations experience is most preferred.
    • Must have a good  knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management processes

    • The ability to manage change in a multi-cultural environment is also required
    • Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
    • Must have good analytical sense with ability to make good decisions

    Overview:

    Role Responsibilities

    • To review the development of quotations, proposals and tenders.
    • To supervise correspondence with clients.
    • To review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
    • To review the profit and loss of specific activity within the organization.
    • To develop and manage a department budget.
    • To develop business strategies that can be used as guidelines in developing and managing business plans.
    •  To propose, agree and offer the most appropriate commercial and technical offer for large project enquiries to maximize the company’s opportunity to secure the project..

    Qualifications

    • BSc or Higher National in  Business Administration
    • 10 - 15 years of experience in Exploration and Production.
    • Significant commercial and business experience in the E&P industry.
    • Must be conversant with financial modeling in an oil and gas operations company.
    • Experience on contract management, legal and implementation policies as relates to oil and gas.
    • Must have a reasonable understanding of government contracting policies and procedures.

    Legal Advisor

    Overview:

    We are currently working with an operator in the oil and gas industry for an urgent search of the following below listed roles in Nigeria

     

    Role Responsibilities

    • To review the development of quotations, proposals and tenders.
    • To respond and sensitive to both business and legal issues
    • To review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
    • To give legal counsel to company in matters that relates with new businesses.
    • To ensure due diligence, structuring of the transaction, drafting key agreements are properly followed in line with the legal counsel given.
    • To review agreements with third parties, negotiating, drafting and drafting of license agreements as related to the national policy on business operations. 
    • To support the development of efficient corporate and subsidiary structures.
    • To give legal counsel on best practice corporate governance requirements. 
    • To review policy questions and legal implications of policies on the Company and its operations. 

    Qualifications

    • BSc or Higher National in  LLB, BL or LLM
    • 10 - 15 years of experience in Exploration and Production.
    • Significant legal experience in an oil and gas operations company.
    • Legal experience in commercial, contract management, finance in an E&P company.

    • Should have excellent communication skills
    • A negotiating, persuasive and influencing skill is required for the role.
    • Self motivated, hardworking, mature, independent and practical 
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills

    Finance Manager

    Overview:

    We are currently working with an operator in the oil and gas industry for an urgent search of the following below listed roles in Nigeria 

    Role Responsibilities

    • To be responsible for all financial accounting issues, planning and risks for the business.
    • Ensure that internal financial controls are adequate and properly documented.
    • To develop financial reporting as required by the business and deliver accurate and timely financial information to Board Members.
    • To support the business in dealing with NAPIMS, DPR and other relevant government agencies.
    • To support the Executive Management team in research into all factors that impact business performance including cost drivers.
    • To prepare annual budgets and department allocations, forecasts, adjustments and business plans.
    • To monitor and report on the financial performance of the business against the budget/ business plan.
    • To provide value added financial management information to facilitate decision making.

    Qualifications

    • BSc -Banking and finance or Accounting including any other higher degree.
    • 10 - 15 years of experience in Exploration and Production.
    • Financial experience in an oil and gas operations company.
    • Proficient with MS Office suite – especially Excel and other corporate software (Sun Accounts, QuickBooks etc.)
    •  In-depth knowledge of all accounting principles and management accounting practices
