    SHOP FLOOR CONSULTANT

    FUNCTIONAL AREA: Retail Sales
    DESIGNATION:  SHOP FLOOR CONSULTANT
    DIRECT REPORT: Shop Manager
    SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

    Shop floor Consultant work closely with walk in customers this requires a high level of consistent customer interaction, a display of good customer facing and communication skills.

    They foster a successful relationship endearing the customer to their business. These consultants handle any enquires produced by the client, investigate the issue and provide the necessary feedback.

    ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:         

    • Greeting customers who enter the shop.
    • Be involved in stock control and management.
    • Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
    • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
    • Stocking shelves with merchandise.
    • Answering queries from customers.
    • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
    • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
    • Balancing cash registers with receipts.
    • Dealing with customer refunds.
    • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
    • Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
    • Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
    • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
    • Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
    • Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
    • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

    Skill:

    • Having a friendly and engaging personality.
    • Comfortable working with members of the public.
    • Should have a confident manner.
    • Must be helpful and polite.
    • Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
    • You should have a comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, sports equipment etc.
    • Able to work as part of a sales team.
    • Knowledge of inventory techniques.
    • Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.

    Qualifications:

    • A Degree in Mass communications; humanities or any related discipline
    • Minimum of post NYSC
    • Experience working in Telecoms or FMCG is an added advantage

    FIELD SALES AGENT

    FUNCTIONAL AREA: Retail Sales
    DESIGNATION: FIELD SALES AGENT
    DIRECT REPORT: Sales Manager
    SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

    Responsible for selling products, including Routers, Modems, Mifi, cellular phones and parts, Internet access, information services, and VoIP.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sell telecommunications products and services to both individuals and companies.
    • Sell VoIP for corporate technology and communications systems.
    • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
    • Keep abreast of current technology trends.
    • Book and install new lines/circuits/bundles/services to meet established monthly quotas.
    • Write and submit accurate orders.
    • Maintain an updated database in sales database including all activities, partners, and opportunities with their current status.
    • Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the organization to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship.
    • Capture and review any competitive intelligence gathered and proactively communicates this information to marketing.
    • Define personal and corporate revenue objectives.
