    Gate & Shield Global Concept Limited is a company incorporated in Nigeria with vast experience in the area of automation, surveillance and physical /electronic access control. We specialize in designs and installation of convenience and security solutions to world-class standards.

    We are currently expanding and seek to fill the following vacancies:



    Role Summary:

    Experience Required: At least 3 years
    Educational Qualification: HND, BSc  Accounting

    The Accountant is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

    You are expected to be chattered or with at least 3 years cognitive experience. You should be proactive and have respect for timelines.

    Main Activities:
    1. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
    2. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
    3. Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met.
    4. Prepare financial management reports.
    5. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.
    6. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
    7. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
    8. Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
    9. Monitor and support taxation requirements.
    10. Develop and maintain financial databases.
    11. Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.
    12. Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
    13. Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
    14. Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
    15. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.

    The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate proficient knowledge in the following areas:

    •  Proper understanding of accounting policies
    •  Proper understanding of the workings of FIRS and tax issues
    •  Preparation of monthly accounts for management consideration
    •  Preparation of the company’s financial statement( Balance sheet, P&L etc.) at the end of the year
    •  Must be able to Prepare necessary schedule e,g asset schedule and depreciation thereon
    •  Must be able to prepare bank reconciliation statement.

    Billing/Executive Secretary


    Role Summary:

    Experience Required: At least 6months
    Educational Qualification: ND, HND, BSc secretarial studies, Accounting, Mass Communication or related fields.

    The Ideal candidate will receive customers and visitors as well as sell products to walk-in clients. You will handle the cash register, use POS machine for transactions, prepare invoices, and give product information.
    You are also expected to double as a secretary the Managing Director. You will plan the MD’s artinery prepare letters and quotations for transactions.

     Main Activities:

    1.  Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and e-mail messages
    2.  Maintain an up-to-date database of all G&S customers and Clients
    3. Direct every G&S visitor to the appropriate staff member
    4. Open and date stamp all general correspondence
    5. Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and strategy sessions.
    6.  Issue invoices to customers and process credit memos.
    7. Update the customer master file with contact information
    8. Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register
    9. Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
    10. Make preparations for staff weekly meetings
    11.  Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies.
    12. Respond to public inquiries
    13. Provide word-processing and secretarial support
    14. Take minutes in all general meetings
    15. Supervise the Office Assistant and ensure the tidiness of the G&S premises at all times.

    The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate proficient knowledge in the following areas:

    •  Exceptional Computer Skills (All Microsoft Office Applications)
    •  Office administration
    •  An understanding of Accounting 
    •  An understanding of Customer relations
    •  Billing and record keeping.

    Role Summary

    Experience Required: At least 3 years
    Educational Qualification: SSCE

    The Ideal candidate for this position most know Abuja extensively.

    1. You must possess an ORIGINAL driver’s license.
    2. You must be able to drive manual and automatic cars perfectly.
    3. You must be able to read and converse in English Language at least averagely.
    4. You be willing to work on weekends and beyond the call of duty.
    5. You must have a proven track record that can be verified by previous employers.
    6. You must be responsible with adequate knowledge of road signs and respect for traffic laws.
    7. Preferably married between 30-35years.
