    Human Resources Manager

     

    Description :    

    Our Client, a multibillion Naira, wholly Nigerian company in the ICT industry; seeks to fill the following vacancy arising as a result of the expansion of its operations.

    Role Summary:
    Developing and implementing strategies to building a workforce capable of producing world--‐class deliverables by attracting, rewarding, training and retaining competent skills.

    Qualifications :    

    • A First degree (BSc, BA; Minimum 2:2) In Social Sciences Or related discipline from a top tier institution plus at least five years relevant work experience

    OR:

    • A postgraduate qualification in the same fields stated above plus at least three years relevant work experience.
    • Very Good working knowledge of computers in general
    • High Level proficiency in the following: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
    • Ability and willingness to learn and apply new concepts quickly
    • High Sense of commitment
    • Proactive, creative, flexible, empathetic, patient & discrete

    Manager, Online Business Unit

    Qualifications :    

    • A first degree (BSc, BA; minimum 2:2) in a relevant discipline from a top tier institution plus two to three years relevant work experience
    • Excellent communications skills; most especially written
    • Excellent working knowledge of computers in general plus a high level of proficiency in the use of modern applications and software in particular, including the MS Suite.
    • Ability and willingness to learn and apply new concepts quickly

    Accountant

     

    Description :    

    Main Activities and Responsibilities

    • Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
    • Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
    • Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
    • Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
    • Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.
    • Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
    • Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
    • Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
    • Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
    • Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
    • Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.

    Competencies:

    • Foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Create and assess financial statements and budget documents.
    • Recognize and be responsive to the needs of all clients of the organization, including funding organizations, the Board of Directors, local community advocates, participants, and employers.
    • Supervise staff, including regular progress reviews and plans for improvement.
    • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

    Qualifications :    
    General Knowledge and Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and rules governing work requirements
    • Knowledge of resources of public and private social service and related agencies
    • Knowledge of organizational development, human resources, and program operations.
    • Knowledge of General office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite and MIP software (or other similar not-for-profit general ledger software) and use of databases.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • A bachelors’ degree in Accounting, with not below Second Class lower grade. A Masters Degree with specialization in Accounting will be an added advantage
    • 3-5 Experience in a similar position with ability to motivate and provide leadership to the marketing/sales team
    • Experience in building brand awareness and co-operate support
