ACTIVITIESQC Superintendent EWT Yard will be responsible for ensuring and enforcing the Quality implementationon the FPSO Modules fabricated in Nigeria located Yards especially in PRESSURE VESSEL (CS, DSand SS) fabrication yards. She/he will report on daily basis to Egina FPSO Package Quality Leader.The SERVICE holder is directly responsible:
QA ActivitiesTo ensure Contractor's work is in compliance with approved Quality Control Plan andrequirement for Pressure Vessel (CS, DS and SS) delivery.To raise non-conformance report when work is not in accordance with project requirementTo ensure that, for his discipline, the quality assurance record books are properly documentedand maintained by the contractor.To issue field instructions to the contractor as directed by the Yard Representative.To assess any deviation from quality control procedures or requirements requested by thecontractor, and make an appropriate recommendation to the Yard Representative.To ensure that contractors comply with QA/QC requirements regarding documentation filling,material and control traceability, and materials reception, storage and preservation.To ensure compliance on work sites with QAQC rules and standards.Ensure proper control/traceability on free issue and purchased
materials and that they conformto required specificationEnsure Contractors' control and adherence to specification, codes, standards andrequirementsEnsure proper follow-up of Dimensional control, blasting and painting, Pressure testsmonitoring and acceptance of load-outs compliant with approved acceptance criteria.Update internal Database with all information (Corrective Action Requests, NonconformitiesApril 2014 - Rev. 1 Page 2 of 3SERVICE DESCRIPTION - QC Superintendent EWT Yardand Deviations/Derogations etc) and prepare statistic analysis.Determines with the QAQC Leader where improvements are required and where necessaryrecommend corrective action.Participate at kick-off meetings.Evaluate Contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers Inspection and Test Plans, long leaditems, associated documents and identify any necessary corrective measures.Review and endorsed the "As Built" Dossier for completeness and
correctness.To support the COMPANY and EGINA FPSO Project Quality Team in effective andefficient implementation of CR, GS and quality management system in the respective yard.
QC Activities GeneralPerform physical inspections, plan and co-ordinate piping test and to interpret test and result.Initiate, discuss with the Contractor's QA/QC Leader and help to promote all necessarycorrective actions for any failure identified within the project quality system.Ensure all nonconformities are resolved, track trends and make recommendations to theContractor's QAQC Leader for inspection levels and frequency changes.Attend weekly project meetings and monthly meetings with ContractorsParticipate in yard project related audit.
QC Activities SpecificManage the QAQC Team in the Yard (supervision and inspection) and to maintain firmreporting line to FPSO QAQC Leader and other project hierarchy.Where applicable inspects of Stainless Steel Pressure Vessel Fabrication.Where there is /are galvanizing processes/activities he/she must understand thegalvanizing process and managementTo submit a QC report to the FPSO QC Engineer/Coordinator when deviations are detectedso that the contractor can be instructed to take corrective action.To monitor the progress of QAQC activities on work sites and submit regular reports to FPSOQuality Package Leader.Where applicable inspects fabrication/construction and installation of mechanical equipmentfor conformity to specifications.To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.Prepared and issued Inspection Release Certificates.Represent the FPSO Project in all
Quality activities in the fabrication yardCONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENTNigerian context (Nigerian content, Nigerian Laws, Authorities involvement in the "dueprocess") shall be taken into account.Detailed Engineering for FPSO is done mostly in Nigeria
SERVICE DESCRIPTION - QC Superintendent EWT YardNigerian Content Fabrication for 6 modules, pressure vessel, flare tower and structure appurtenance.The Integration of the FPSO and Nigerian content will be performed in Nigeria.The SERVICE shall be site based at the FPSO fabrication worksite; however it will be initiallylocated in Lagos during detail engineering period.HSEProvide specialist advice, supports and technical assistance to the HSE Superintendent onHSE matters.Participate and ensure compliance with recommendations from safety audits, SERVICE safetyanalysis, reviews, incident and accident investigation, etc.To ensure awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates andcontractors.
ACCOUNTABILITIESThe SERVICE holder shall be fully accountable and directly responsible to ensure the fullimplementation of Quality Management within the FPSO packages as per requirement of Egina Project.
NECESSARY PROFILESkills required: High standard of verbal and written communications, including: report writing,presentations, diplomacy and assertiveness.Strategic thinking - Decision Making - Listening and reception. Sc) or equivalent in engineering disciplines relevant to Oil&Gas and Construction engineering activities.Professional Experience (number of years): 8 years of
relevant construction experience in Oiland Gas Production Projects.Possession of Recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification and aformal training in ISO 9001:2008 standards.Administrative skill including proficiency in typical office application (Words, Excel, Power Point, etc)Fluent in English and able to communicate at all level within the Company. Good planningcapacity, presentation , negotiation and organizational skillsAnalytical thinking competency, able to analyze and propose recommendation base on statistical data
