• Daily operation of all powerhouse equipments.
• Operates / maintenance both mechanical and electrical equipments in powerhouse e.g. Generators, High voltage panels, Ring Main Units, Tripping Units, Batteries, High voltage Underground cables, High voltage and low voltage Circuit breakers.
• Receiving of AGO;                                                                                       
• Assisting powerhouse mechanics to carried out repairs on all Mechanical equipment in-charge of powerhouse;
• Assisting in general maintenance of all Electrical equipment and installation in the Powerhouse;
•  Perform all other duties as may be  assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience

• OND, Trade Test II /Artisan Certificate in Electrical Engineering plus at least two (2) years relevant experience.

• Repairs of all IITA heavy duty equipment tyres;
• Perform tube patching, tyre alignment, operate tyre balancing machine and ballasting operation of tractor tyres, tube and tubeless tyre management;
• Describing fabrication of different tyre vulcanizing tools;
• Keep daily records;
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification and Experience

• WASC/Trade Test  I in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering plus at least two (2) years relevant experience in heavy equipment workshop.

• Dose chemicals for processing of water and waste water;
• Clean water treatment plants, swimming pool plants, sewage plant, pump stations and its surroundings;

• Carry out repairs on farm tractor and equipment of various models such as David Brown, Caterpillar and factory equipment;
• Work on the institute machinery such as Aquamarine, Excavators, Graders, Bulldozers and lift trucks etc.;
• Make medium and high pressure hoses using swaging tools;
• Service and re-kitting hydraulic valves, cylinder rams and actuators;
