    IMPLEMENTATION CONSULTANTS - POWER (Ref: 440)

     

    Responsibilities:
    Implementation Consultant Role
    This role is responsible for implementing Asseco’s enterprise technology solutions at large organisations within the region. Involvement is from solution design, architecture, implementation, solution testing and go-live phases.

    Prime Responsibilities and Duties 

    •     Solution Implementation - Implements project from initiation to delivery, attends milestone reviews, manages/mitigates escalations that impact/alter the vision of the architecture.
    •     Software Development - May be required to undertake customization of software solutions to fit the clients’ specific needs and/or the specificities of the Nigerian regulatory framework as well as development of software improvements and/or additional functionalities.
    •     Project Management - Ensures projects milestones and timelines are met and the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
    •     Training - Responsible for training customers’ users, both super-users and administrators (train the trainer) and lighter system users.
    •     Support - Responsible for ensuring first line after-sales support, software upgrades and post implementation customer satisfaction.

    Qualification and Experience:
    Experience

    •     Candidates must have a good understanding of the industry (i.e. Utility and/or Power Sector), customers, and technology.
    •     Candidates must have deep understanding of customers’ and partners’ business and IT environment, and have demonstrated skills creating architecture and deploying technology to solve business problems.
    •     Candidates must have 4 to 5 Years of experience in Professional Software Development, good knowledge of subject area and solid analysis and communication skills, connecting technology and business problems to provide efficient solutions.

    Skills Required

    •     Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in Java and .NET
    •     Good Mathematical and Algorithmic thinking skills
    •     Proficiency in Web Programming
    •     Javascript/JQuery Programming
    •     CSS3 Design
    •     JSP/JSF/ASP.NET Programming
    •     Proficiency in Distributed Object Computing skills
    •     Proficiency in Oracle and MS SQL Server Programming skills
    •     Proficiency in UML Design Skills
    •     Experienced in Enterprise System Integration
    •     Good Working Knowledge of Software Design Patterns
    •     Good Working knowledge of Server Operating Systems
    •     Good Team spirit
    •     Good Communication skills
    •     Ability to work in a high pressure environment

    Qualifications

    •     Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
    •     At least 5 - 8 years related IT experience including 4 - 5 years in Software Development.
    •     Work experience should involve technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development,       deployment, and management.
    •     Must have a proven record of rendering IT projects and delivering business value.
    •     Some business process skills or related skills.

    PLANT QUALITY MANAGER (Ref: 451)

     

    Responsibilities:
    Job Purpose
    Ensuring compliance to quality norms, policies and procedures of the company with the objective of achieving a quality culture to achieve consistent quality with zero defect in collaboration with all stakeholders by constantly developing, planning and implementing quality systems & processes and training of plant personnel.

    Improve Business Processes

    •     Develop, plan and implement quality systems to meet Food Safety standards in line with GFSI guidelines.
    •     Ensure food safety requirements including PRPs, audit processes (factory, market, warehouse, etc.), conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective action plan, review compliance status for all the quality related observations and lead the process of sharing observations with all stakeholders for implementation/closure.
    •     Continuously improve quality awareness and standards including sensory evaluation of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
    •     Closely interact with other functions including R&D, Manufacturing, Sourcing, etc., and seek their inputs on improvement/ development of Quality Systems and Processes.
    •     Setup, maintain and operate lab to meet all requirements of testing of incoming, in-process and finished goods consistently.
    •     Coordination with external laboratories and external calibration agencies for all other testing requirements.
    •     Support vendor quality improvement programs and looking for opportunities for improvement with vendors

    Managing Talent

    •     Develop and train the team to improve the effectiveness of implementation of best/ next practices in the area of work.
    •     Identify learning needs of team members and personnel critical to food safety in order to enhance skills and develop/maintain a motivated team.
    •     Plan and conduct training for all plant personnel on food safety and personal hygiene.

    Resolve Customer Issues

    •     Classify and process consumer feedback through interaction with customers and stakeholders’.
    •     Advice immediate/ short /long term action plan through the internal web based system in order to address customer issues in a timely manner and maintain satisfied customers.
    •     Assist in investigation on quality related matters including co-ordination with other stakeholders.

    Risk Management

    •     Review and report compliance status for identified risks
    •     Report all business risk related quality non-conformances and escalation.
    •     Report to all concerned stake holders on business risk in this area.
    •     Liaise with statutory , regulatory and government agencies

    New Projects and cost efficiency programs

    •     Assist in commissioning and start-up of new projects and conduct IQ, OQ, PQ for new equipment installations.
    •     Validate quality aspects during scale up trials including travel test and share trial reports to all stakeholders’ in order to ensure that all new products developed and scaled up meet quality norms.
    •     Develop new ways of working that would be cost effective and be within the budget.

    Review & Reporting

    •     Collection of information on functional activities & present the same
    •     Make available information and necessary documents related to quality KPI for review at any point of time.
    •     Develop appropriate tracking mechanism to report progress on a daily/weekly/fortnightly /Monthly/Quarterly and on annualized basis on outcomes of implementation of Quality Plan.
    • Communication Network Internal: Purchase, Manufacturing, R&D, CQA
    • Relationship: Purchase, R&D, CQA
    • Purpose of Relationship: Material receipts, Technical Support, Reports, Supports
    • Communication Network External: Vendors, Customers
    • Relationship: External Labs, External calibration agency, RM Vendors, Govt. Agencies
    • Purpose of Relationship: For coordination of external lab analysis, for coordination of external calibration, for verification of RM, Statutory & Regulatory
    • Critical Success Factors: Thorough Knowledge of Food Safety systems, GMP, GLP, Auditing, Compliance, Training, Food testing (including sensory), basic regulatory knowledge
    • Essential Skill: Good communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, assertiveness, negotiating capability

    Qualification and Experience:

    •     Food Technology, M. Sc. (Food Science).
    •     10-15 years of experience in food industry.
