    HEAD OF SCHOOL (HOS)

    The HOS will be responsible for implementing the school's development plan and providing strategic leadership and direction which will motivate all staff to strive for superior performance in order to secure the best possible outcomes for the pupils in all spheres. The candidate of choice must have excellent leadership and management skills which will ensure that all set targets are met.

    Job Specifications

    •     Bachelor's degree in Education, Guidance & Counselling, Education Management or a related field of study. A Master's degree in any relevant discipline.
    •     Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and pouoes governing education, locally and nationally.
    •     The ability to rightly interpret curriculum and instructional programmes for appropriate levels.
    •     Knowledge of budgetary (preparing and implementing) and supervisory responsibilities.
    •     Aged above 40 years.

    Required Experience

    •     Must have experience implementing the British School Curriculum.
    •     Must have at least fifteen (15) years' experience in the educational sector, 5 of which must be in a strategic leadership role.

    FACILITY MANAGER

    The Facility Manager will be responsible for the daily operation and coordination of the maintenance of the school's grounds and facilities. He/she is expected to provide safe, efficient, environmentally healthy, and structurally sound facilities that offer pupils and staff the best possible atmosphere for meaningful instruction and learning.

    Job Specifications and Required Experience

    •     Bachelor's degree in Building/ Estate Management or any other related discipline plus a minimum of five (5) years' experience in a facilities management or similar role.
    •     Facilities Management, Health and Safety certifications will be an added advantage.
    •     Prior experience in managing a school facility will be an added advantage.
    •     Must be punctual, effiCient, an independent worker, a detail oriented person and must possess good work habit
    •     Must be able to perform and manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities concurrently.

    PRIMARY YEARS' TEACHERS

    The Primary Years' Teacher would work with children aged between five and eleven and be responsible for their educational, social and emotional development while in their care. They are required to teach subjects covered by the British Primary curriculum at Key Stage 1 (ages 5 to 7) and Key Stage 2 (7 to 11) - subjects such as English, Science, Maths, Critical Thinking etc. They facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organisation of learning resources and the classroom environment. They develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude.

    Job Specifications and Required Experience

    •     Bachelor's degree in Education or a-Post Graduate Diploma in Education in addition to a Bachelor's degree in a relevant course of study.
    •     Additional teaching certification is desirable.
    •     Must have at least two (2) years primary school teaching experience implementing the British or Nigerian primary schoo! curriculum.

    SPECIALIST TEACHERS: ART AND ICT

    •     Bachelor's degree in Fine Art or Computer Science (as the position requires).
    •     A Post Graduate Diploma in Education is an added advantage.
    •     Additional teaching certification is desirable.
    •     Must have at least two (2) years primary school teaching experience implementing the British or Nigerian primary school curriculum.
