Thekeyobjectiveof jobholderwillbe toprovidetechnicalsupportto the Clients SPSBaseCompanyRepinorderto ensure:

•  Availabilityof SubseaEquipmentand Sparesforoperations&maintenanceactivities.

•  PropersparesmanagementimplementationbyContractor(beststoragepractices,propersegregationand arrangement,goodqualityinventory,robustobsolescencemanagement,goodcontrol/trackingof use& forecastsetc.)

•  Efficientprocurementprocessof spares&materials

•  Efficientdispatch/receiptof equipment&materialsbyCOMPANYorCONTRACTORatoperationalbase.

•  OverseeCONTRACTORutilisationof safe& properlifting& handlingpracticesin relationtomovement, dispatchorreceiptof COMPANYequipment.

•  IntermittentsupportwithQA/QCactivitiesavailablewhenrequired

Thejobholderwillbeinvolvedin thefollowingactivitieswithhisresponsibilitiesdefinedasfollows:

 

HSE:

•  Ensure/verifythatCONTRACTORand SUB-CONTRACTORSconstantlymeettheobjectivesand standardssetby Client SPSHSEinrelationtotheirmanagementof COMPANYequipment,tools andspares.

•  MaintainaproactiveHSEattitudein allworkingareasinlinewithCOMPANYpublishedstandards(Wear adequatePPE,volunteerforCONTRACTORandSUB-CONTRACTORSfacilitiessafetytoursand meetings,stopandreport(but inapositiveway)anyonecaughtperformingan unsafeact)andcomply withCOMPANYrequirementsin termsof HSEtraining

•  PromoteanySafetyBulletinsissuedfrom within Clients GroupforawarenesswithinCONTRACTOR Organisation

•  Followupanyanalysisprocessof reportedunsafeactswhererelevant,ensurecloseoutandtransmissions of the lessons learned

•  Overseesafe& properlifting& handlingpracticesinrelationtomovement,dispatchorreceiptof

COMPANYequipment.

•  Althoughthisremainsthedutyof theCONTRACTORandSUB-CONTRACTORS,ensurethat visitors, relevantto his/heractivities,arefullybriefedbeforeenteringaworkingsite(especiallyduringheavyliftand testingoperations)andguided/ supervisedduringthe visit

Followupof SPSequipment&materialsdelivery:

•  Monitorstatusof equipment&materialsintransitanddeliveredtoCONTRACTOROther base

•  Followup,Coordinateandsupportpreparation/packing/loadingof equipment& materialsfrom CONTRACTOR baseasrequired(thisactivityscopedoesNOT includefollowup atQUAYSIDEor CONTRACTORfacilityand is limitedtoexecutionwithinCONTRACTOR base)

•  Plananddrivepreparation/packing/loadingof equipmenttoother sites(yard,rigs,intervention vessels…)asnecessaryin safeandefficientmanner–confirmnounsecuredCOMPANYloaddispatched outof CONTRACTORbase.

•  Follow up custom clearing process and status

•  LiaisewithandAlertCOMPANYLogisticsorganisationwithrespectstomovementof COMPANY equipment,ensuringallnecessarydocumentation  fromCONTRACTOR base prepared to acco Agreement

Education:

Technicaldegree(generalist,mechanical,…)
5yearscumulativeexperiencein drilling&completionoperations,logistics,withmanagementof CONTRACTOR. QA/QCormaterials/equipmentinspectionexperience.

RequiredCompetencies:

ManagetheCONTRACTandmonitortheCONTRACTOR toensurethathemeetshisobligationunderthe CONTRACT,to  ensurethatthe  CONTRACTORdeliverson  time,withinbudgetandto  theagreedlevelof equipmentspecifications.

Subsea Control Engineer Description

The SERVICEholderwillbe:

-   AccountableasClientprojectrepresentativeforprovidingtechnicalspecialistinstrumentexpertise tointerfacewiththeSubseaProductionSystemonallmatterrelatingto controlandsafetysystem design.
-   Accountableforensuringcompliancewithdesign,materialspecification,construction,installation standardsandregulations.

-   EnsurethatICSSdesignequipmentsrequirementsaredevelopedasspecifiedintheSubsea

Production System interfacerequirement.

-   EnsurethatHMIoperatorsconsoleareconsistentlyimplementedbetweentheICSSandSubsea Control Unit (SCU).

EnsurethatallapplicableICSS–SCUStandardFunctionaredeveloped,testedandvalidatedin linewith  project operatingphilosophy.

-   Ensurerequiredprovisionareavailableonsubseacontrolunit(SCU)forthedevelopmentof OverallControlof WellandRiser(OCWR)andOverallFlowMeteringSystem(OFMS)asspecified and meetsField operation requirements.

-   Followup requiredSubseaControl Unit (SCU)software modificationin linewith theapproved projectoperatingand shutdownphilosophy.

-    (Thisisnot applicable, theupdate ofSCU in underSPS packageresponsibility)

-   ResponsibleforICSS-SubseaControlUnit(SCU)engineeringdocumentationreviewforany engineeringmodification suchas InstrumentPhilosophies,FunctionalLogicDiagram,Causeand Effects/Logicdiagrams,SystemArchitecture,ESDBlockLogicDiagrams andMeteringFunctional Specification.

-   Participateinacceptingsystemfunctionality/performanceatICSS-SubseaControlUnit(SCU) Factory AcceptanceTest and onsitecommissioning.

-   Responsiblefor  ICSS  -SubseaControlUnit  (SCU)  interface  technicalinput  on  overallICSS functional designandProject Operatingphilosophyrequirements.

-    Anyother responsibilities/activities within thelimitsoftheSERVICEholder’scapabilities.  

·    Participate inRiskAssessmentsstudies andensure implementation through theuseofwork permitsanddailyTool boxtalks.

·    Participate insite emergencypreparednessand implement improvementmeasuresafter regularexercises

Qualifications

Experience:5years’ experienceasInstrumentationand Control engineeringin Oil &Gasproduction process,Plant IntegrityManagementSystem, Codes,Standard,Condition MonitoringTechniques, Instrumentation/ ICSSTechniques,Knowledge ofConventional Instrumentation, Knowledge of PneumaticInstrumentation,Knowledge ofPLC/ ICSS.Hydraulic Instrumentationknowledge would be beneficial
