    Head Sales and Marketing


    Our client is a renowned name in the FMCG industry who offers a rewarding career is looking to hire seasoned sales professionals for the head office operations.Head of Sales & Distribution you’ll have the accountability to lead the sales strategy, developing and execute the annual operating plan including the sales volume costs as well as distribution and profit objectives delivering towards business growth plans. The market space is still very much a traditional trade business and NOT a modern trade business and looking for profiles with individuals with expertise in this field.  On a longer term basis you would be responsible for developing a strategic partnership with the customer, thereby ascending categories and optimizing in its positions in all aspects of the commercial relationship. Asses the Sales & Distribution System on regular basis with liaise with fleet maintenance to ensure the best allocation/utilization of the fleet in order to optimize product stock rotation Lastly, you will oversee sales forecasts and sales strategy, performance management, product pricing & price compliance, proposing and directing the execution of programs to maximize sales volume potential to achieve Plan.

    What you must have Proven track record  in FMCG / Beverage business with a a focus on Traditional Trade & Direct Distribution of which at least 7 years at senior management level At least 12 - 15  years’ overall experience in a FMCG of substantial size and turnover.

    Candidate Profile:

    Qualification: Bachelors Degree, Business Administration

    Experience: 12 To 15 yrs in a quality FMCG with experience in direct distribution and traditional trade

    - Financial Acumen and Numerical ability should be very strong.
    - Excellent Sales Skills with a Demonstrated track record of Sales achievements.
    - Good customer relationships.
    - Aggressively competitive and achievement oriented.

    - Leadership skills : An ability to motivate, mentor and monitor the sales team.

    Listing out the a brief sketch of the accountabilities
    Responsible for the marketing the company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C.
    Prepare the Annual marketing and consumer plan.
    Regularly monitor volume and share growth against the plan and recommend necessary revisions and solutions.
    Monitor competitor’s activities including dealer, consumer trends, new launches and recommend appropriate and innovative marketing solutions to be undertaken when/where necessary
    Plan brand operations while maintaining strict control on budget and expenditures.
    Formulate, discuss and finalize with general managers/regional heads of sales a company-wide brand awareness policy.
    Determine the need, objectives and required actions for consumer promotions and programs.
    Develop strategies to ensure effective and measurable in-store execution of promotional items such as coolers, in-store signs, etc.

    Key Accounts Manager


    You would be responsible for building the sales and distribution capability, develop the strategy & policy related to pricing ,line up, credit terms, stock holding etc. Execute aggressive growth plans, deliver the planned net revenue ,company operating profit and net working capital on a consistent basis. Based on your knowledge, functional expertise and local market circumstances you would lead the development and implementation of focused highly effective annual sales plans that ensure delivery of annual objectives

    Desired Skills and Experience

    8+ years sales experience in managing complex sales cycles with a demonstrated track record of success
    Exceeds forecast by maximizing sales opportunities and profits with existing customers, identifying new prospects and establishing new customers.
    Provide strategic leadership, team spirit and the drive to ensure achievement of company objectives across all reporting activities.
    Monitor Key Accounts Sales operations, sales versus target, merchandizing, warm and cold stock in supermarkets.
    Position opens to overseas candidates as long as they carry the relevant industry experience.
