    Senior Manager, Finance and Personnel

     

    The Senior Manager Finance & Personnel is in charge for all tasks in Finance, Personnel Matters, Administration and Corporate Functions and will be directly reporting to the Regional Director Sub-Sahara based in Lagos and will provide accurate financial information, mitigating financial and legal risks, to support the expansion of the business and to optimise processes and economic performance as well as furtherance of positive relations within the HR.

    The regional responsibility comprises the countries Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.

    • Responsibility for the controlling processes in the region, incl. preparation and monitoring of forecasts and budgets for expenses, inventory. Participation in preparation of revenue budget and cost analyses
    • Responsibility for financial administration, incl. all bank procedures/cash transactions/invoice control/voucher preparation and recording/current account controlling
    • Responsibility for local taxation matters
    • Facility management, owned and/or leased property
    • Local procurement
    • General administration including implementing functional system of internal control (ICS), execution of respective controls, contract administration, settlement of local liability and insurance claims
    • Legal tasks including contract / staff and general business matters.
    • To deal with internal and external auditors in facilitating audits and to ensure that all audit requirements are met
    • To be responsible for adherence to all reporting and filing duties and compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
    • Responsibility for local IT, power and telecommunication infrastructure
    • Responsibility for personnel administration, incl. payroll administration, preparation and renewal of rules of employment / preparation and participation in collective salary negotiation / providing local assistance in all HR-matters / coordination with the Regional Director Sub-Sahara

    Qualification:

    • Educated to Degree-level in Business Management or Accounting
    • 7-10years of relevant work experience, preferable with international companies
    • Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS-Office products
    • Familiarity with local financial regulations / generally accepted accounting principles
    • German, Spanish or French language skills are of advantage but not mandatory

    Other Requirements:

    • High degree of problem solving skills
    • High degree of numeracy and ability to analyse financial data
    • Good negotiation and presentation skills
    • Intercultural competence and ability to deal with difficult personalities 
    • Ability to understand a complex global organisation and its hierarchy
    • Ready to frequent travel both domestically (ABV, PHC) as well as internationally
    • Ready to have irregular hours of work

    Corporate Sales Executive

     

    The corporate Sales Executive is expected to achieve targeted sales of ICT Hardware and Services into the Corporate and Education sectors focusing on solution based selling and also develop ongoing business development through building strong relationships with senior executives with decision making authority within these sectors.

    Responsibilties:

    • Provide input into and implement the Corporate and Education Sales strategy for Nigeria.
    • Develop Relationships with key Executives (Corporates, Education/customers with a focus on solution selling which drives the use of products within these sectors.
    • Achievement of sell-in targets and pipeline development.
    • required to maintain ICT Product Professional Status and have required knowledge to provide business solutions.
    • correct stock holding to ensure accurate and timeous delivery of stock to customers
    • Provide input into the marketing plan for the relevant Carriers and Corporates in line with both party’s interests.

    Qualification:

    • Educated to Degree-level in Business Administration or Marketing
    • 5 years minimum in B2B/Corporate Sales into Global business operations in solution selling
      • Proven track record of solution selling at an Executive/Decision making level.
      • Sales experience in a target driven environment - ie Financial Services, listed Companies and FMCGs
      • Networking ability and strong interpersonal and presentation skills

    Senior Sales Manager

     

    The Senior Sales Manager will lead and oversee a team, developing strategy and execution plans to grow revenue and client base. This role requires someone who is passionate about Life Insurance and is focused on winning. He/ She will be accountable for their goals, and known for having a successful sales strategy, operational efficiency, strong leadership, and a positive attitude with a proven track record of building, developing and coaching a team of high performing sales professional particularly in the insurance industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively manage and motivate a high-performing and dynamic sales team
    • Design strategy and policies that can help drive sales
    • Accurately manage revenue forecasting, reporting against key metrics and objectives, and team activity within Sales Force
    • Identify business opportunities and converting to actual sales
    • Advise sales team on contract negotiations and strategies to close business
    • Effectively use data in order to analyze team performance, identify areas of improvement, and make decisions to increase effectiveness
    • Liaise and attend meetings with other functional leaders necessary to perform duties and to aid business and organizational development
    • Follow up on all strategic marketing activities focused on driving revenue growth
    • Acquire new clients, grow revenue from existing clients and strengthen customer relationships
    • Contribute to the management of key client relationships through partnership development
    • Collaborate with the sales team in the development of strategies, plans and initiatives relative to new and renewal business development
    • Develop and execute against a focused sales strategy to acquire new business for your region. Leverage on existing relationships to open doors to new strategic business opportunities.
    • Directly manage the day to day operations of the team with the ability to grow and scale as necessary. 

    Qualification:

    • Indepth experience in selling insurance products
    • A minimum of 8 years experience
    • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Marketing or other related field
    • Strong leadership and motivational skills
    • Experience in leading and managing a high performing sales team

    • Consistency in achieving sales targets with the ability to exceed it
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution skills
    • Persistence and resilience
    • Good presentation and communication skills
    • Drive, strong proactive work ethic
    • Work well under pressure and are comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
    • Interest in selling insurance products
